Q: What is a neutral wire? Do I have neutral wires?

A neutral wire is typically a bundle of white wires that provides power to the switch. Homes built in the mid-1980s or later are very likely to have neutral wires.

Q: The fan and light switch is installed, but it doesn’t respond at all.

Ensure your wiring includes a neutral wire, fan load, light load, line, and ground. Check that your switch has two separate load wires, one for fan and one for light. The switch is compatible only with single-pole circuits, not 3-way or multi-way.

Q: What types of bulbs are compatible with this switch?

This switch supports dimmable LED bulbs (up to 150W), dimmable CFL bulbs (up to 150W), and incandescent/halogen bulbs (up to 300W). It is not compatible with non-dimmable bulbs, smart lights, lights with built-in controls, or transformers.

Q: What fan is this fan switch compatible with?

It is compatible with 4-speed AC ceiling fans without built-in remote. Note it's only support 4 speed fans. Not for smart fans, DC motor or exhaust fans. Please remove any canopy modules before installing.

Q: The app can't find my device during setup. What should I do?

Make sure you are connecting to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (not 5GHz). Also confirm your network signal is stable and strong, then try pairing the device again.
