These shakers have been nice and useful for dusting work surfaces with flour and cakes with icing sugar. It's really convenient having these on hand, and they're also a nice size so don't take up too much room. The only fault I have with it is the metal is quite thin and while this makes them nice and light to use, I have found the lids can sometimes be quite awkward to get on and off as they can get stuck and become difficult to twist off. The thinness of the metal gives me the feeling that it wouldn't be too difficult to dent or bend and make the lids even more difficult to use. Perhaps over time the lids will become easier to take on/off as they're used more, I'll have to see.All in all I would recommend these shakers and they are decent value for money.If you found this review helpful let me know by clicking the button below! fairly thin and fragile for the price. Not large and a weak connection on the lid, no screwing in, meaning it falls off if you shake too hard.

After 28 days, when salt was no longer coming out of this shaker, I opened it up with some difficulty, as there was rust in the thread. When open, all the salt was yellow and as you can see, the lid is rusted. This is VERY BAD QUALITY. Luckily I happened to check this two days before my 30 day return period came up... so will get my money back, but I feel sorry for those who find out how bad this item is after more than 30 days.... My advice, IF you buy this (don't) then set a reminder to open yours after 27 days to see if there is ANY sign of rust. If so, return immediately. I think the only way this would last for any acceptable time is if this was used only in very dry environments. Using it next to the stove to salt your food while you cook is COMPLETELY USELESS.
