A Catholic Child's Illustrated Lives of the Saints

Just finished this book with my 8 year old. We read one saint per day. It’s a must for Catholic parents to include the lives of the faithful as role models for our children to look up to. It can be a bit difficult to follow, some words are more advanced, so we read it together so that I can clarify ideas. Would be great for ages 8-and up

This book has a lot of information on many saints. It includes biographical information and what the saint is known for as well as their Feast Day. Beautiful pictures.

We homeschool and have a large selection of saint books, but this one is our favorite! The illustrations are absolutely beautiful, which is the main reason we love this book so much. It is also nice that it has the saints organized throughout the year so most days we read about the saint of the day in this beautiful book. I'll be buying more as gifts.

I got this for a friend and she loved it. I did notice that the pictures of the saints are more modern and not the traditional pictures from the traditional Catholic Church that you would have seen before the changes of Vatican II.

This book has been very helpful for researching the saints.

Within minutes I went to the page about Saint Therese, the Little Flower. The second sentence claims she was the youngest of ten children--I have always read nine. This was part of a birthday gift for a little girl, and I also ordered a child's book about Saint Therese. Would be nice to be able to say these are true stories and have the stories agree...

I bought this for my son as he was studying st poly carp in school, unfortunately st poly carp isn't in this book but lots of other interesting info and saints we haven't heard of and lovely pictures

A delightful book. Just enough information for children, but interesting for adults to read aloud and recall Saints from childhood.Lovely illustrations.
