Q: To Bloom or not to Bloom??

This is a soft soap, and blooming is not needed or recommended. To maintain top performance, allow to dry completely after every use before recapping.

Q: Should the product have an inner seal? Mine did not - only had the twist crap and then the product.

No inner seal when I have ordered. I’m on my third one.

Q: Does it come in some sort of storage container, or is it just a puck of soap in plastic wrap that you have to plop into a cup/shaving mug of your own?

It comes in a plastic container with a screw top lid. You use the container as the cup/mug. When you're done just screw the lid back on. Very convenient.

Q: Is this the newer silk tallow formula?

This black label versionwith cowboy boots and hat is the older formula. The silk tallow version comes with a picture of a barber chair and says "Artisinal Shaving Soap".
