Urinary Harmony D-Mannose Supplement for Urinary Tract Health, 60 Capsules

As of my late 20s, I've been a chronic sufferer of UTIs. Contrary to what some doctors have wrongly assumed when I've ended up in their presences, I shower immediately after sex, I'm extremely particular about grooming and hygiene, I wear cotton, and I avoid known irritants, but some things are regrettably beyond environment. I do everything within my control, but for the last 5 years, I've gotten one that required medication approximately every 6-8 months. Antibiotics have been welcome godsends, but after a few rounds not too far apart from each other, I noticed that they adversely affected other things in my body. When I felt an infection coming on two days ago, I started researching and found this product. I'd never heard about D-Mannose before. In general, I avoid supplements. I especially avoid them when they purport to take the place of prescriptions or food and the only comprehensive information you can find is mostly on blogs that also give advice like why dental floss is a government conspiracy, but given the fact that over 90% of UTIs are caused by E-Coli and there's good science to support the role D-Mannose has in removing it from the bladder, it seemed worth the gamble. If you're reading this and you're in the camp I was in, please be wary of all of the anecdotal evidence (even mine!) one way or the other and err on the side of caution. Also, be aware that if you go with D-Mannose in any form, there's still a 10% chance that the bacteria causing your symptoms won't respond to this product. I read through all of the 1-2 star reviews and ultimately decided that I loved my gut biota enough to try something that might not work, but my symptoms were slower moving than they had been in the past. If it had been very severe, which is usually how my UTI symptoms tend to snowball from onset, I would have called my MD immediately. Anyway - it arrived last night at 8pm. I took a total of three doses over the course of 6 hours, and slept with the resolve that if it didn't seem significantly better when I woke up, I would drag myself to urgent care. When I woke up 7 hours later, the pain was almost entirely absent. No more stinging or feeling like I still had to pee constantly - just a little pressure, comparable to what it feels like after finally taking an antibiotic and Azo. Relative to what I've endured in the past, this is unheard of. I took an additional dose after about an hour of being awake and everything seems to be progressively clearing up without any irregularities. All I can say is, thank f***ing Cthulhu. Maybe it's a fluke, but I really hope not. I intend to keep this on hand to take as a precaution. So far, so good. We'll see.

3 years ago i had reoccurring UTIs. Doctors kept throwing antibiotics at it and they didn't work- only made me sicker in other parts of my body. i did some research online and heard about d-mannose and i can say that 3 years later i am still using this whenever i feel a UTI coming on. i take 1-2 pills before bed and i'm cured by morning. such an amazing product

I am very impressed with this supplement. I have been able to stop my daily antibiotics that were needed due to frequent UTIs. For the first time in years I am not experiencing any bladder irritation. My very elderly mother has not had a UTI since starting these. Before that she was ending up in the hospital every 6-8 weeks.

Great product but quite expensive.

This stuff works. We are on auto shipment and find it is a necessary supplement for me.

Sometimes I’ll get a bottle where the capsules are a sandy color (which is not the color they should be) other times I’ll get it in the color it should be (pink). So that tells me there is NOT consistency which is important with supplements and is frequently issue in the supplements industry. At one point I thought well maybe it’s expired or old and that IS NOT THE CASE AT ALL. However at the same time I surely know when I’m not taking it color or not. I have interstitial cystitis (painful bladder syndrome) this is the only treatment I have found pharmaceutically or in supplements that has treated it. As long as I stay away from the foods I need to avoid per my condition and take this supplement I don’t feel as if I have this condition for the most part. The only reason I give a 3 start is for the lack of consistency and color other wise it would be 5 star. I really hope the lack of consistency will be addressed soon.

I use this daily and it works- My MD recommended it due to obviouis reasons and is a great prevention med. No problems since.

I used to get recurrent UTI’s and each time the dr would give me a course of antibiotics. My fitness trainer told me abt this product. I gave it a try. I take two pills every alternate day. And this has helped me a lot. No more utis

I bought these because I felt like I had a UTI, as I had burning while going to the bathroom. I took this for a few days and that went away. If I feel any burning, I just double up the dose.

Worst situation after the first day...Never again.
