I love them but they got a few issues
Sound quality is about what I would expect from these they sound very good to me at least. Since these are a Stay Aware design there's no Noise Cancelation but that does mean these are fantastic for work I can hear what people are saying and still have a bud in. Battery life is fantastic mine for some reason last a full 8 hours on one earbud. Now nit picks are going to be that they wiggle around too much in the case and that causes one to connect when you don't want it to, another nit pick for me is if both earbuds are connected and not by choice and you walk away from the case with one bud in it doesn't disconnect the one bud, last but not least I've had issues off and on with them staying connected to my phone.

I like them
My ears are weird and does not let any ear buds stay in my ears so I needed bluetooth ear buds that hooked over my ear. I have bought a number of skull candy products in the past and have loved each of them so I felt comfortable sticking to a band I knew. I did peruse the reviews first and I wanted to Comment on some of the themes I saw. 1) "spotty sound" : Yea. It like, clicks, once every 5 minutes roughly. But I am not annoyed by it and I find that happens with lot of ear buds, even wired ones. 2) "the hooks break": i have only had them for a few months but since reading that comment, I have been pretty gentle with them. I do need to mold them to my ear and unmold them to fit into the charger. However, I feel you have to be pretty aggressive to actually break them. Time could prove me wrong, but so far I haven't had any problems with this. 3) "the don't sit securely in your ear" : I LOVE THIS. This is the feature that would make me buy them again. I don't feel like they are compacting the ear wax. The hooks allow them to settle gently in your ear holes. And yes, you can hear your surroundings which is a safety feature I appreciate. But on that note, if you are looking for heavy duty noise cancelation headphones, these are not them. 4) "unreliable charging" : I have to admit, I did have a problem with one ear bud charged but the other one was dead. That was annoying. The buds have to sit just perfectly in the case so if you just toss them in there or toss the case about a knock one of them lose from the contact points, it's not going to work. They are a little high maintenance for ear buds but overall, I am happy with them.

Great tools at a great price.
Amazing price, actually. I needed some High Vis earbuds that weren't garbage. I had a pair of these I wore to death half a decade ago, It is great to find another pair!

Edit from 4 to 1 star: broke after about 4 weeks.
My original review is below. I changed from 4 to 1 star because the adjustable ear hook broke after about 4 weeks. These ear hooks have a wire inside so you can mold them as needed. Unfortunately, you need to do that a lot, because the way they fit your ear is not the way they fit into the charging case. After about 4 weeks of taking them off, adjusting the hook to fit into the case, then re-adjusting when I put them back on, the moldable wire in one of them broke in the middle so I can no longer adjust them. It's not worth trying another pair because this will always be a weak point in the design, and I'm not willing to risk that a new pair will last only a little longer, and then I won't be able to return them. These can be great, or awful. It will depend on what you're looking for in a pair of earbuds, and most importantly how they fit your ear. So, choose a seller where these are fulfilled by Prime/Amazon, that way you can easily return them. 1) The sound quality is fine, and there are 3 built in equalizer profiles. 2) Size: Large. No one will not notice these. That comes with better controls/buttons than most competitors though 3) Fit: This is one of the main problems. The part that goes in your ear is one-size-fits-all. They don't give you any different sized tips to use. This is a main reason I said prepare to return 3-B) Fit part 2: These don't seal in your ear. Skull Candy says this it its "Stay Aware Feature", but that might just be their marketing spin for not having great fit & multiple tip options. Tips are easy, if they wanted "Stay Aware", they should still have given tips so people can choose. As with any earbuds that don't seal, the sound quality isn't as good. 4) Controls: This was a main reason I purchased-- full controls on both sides. Volume, skip song, power, voice assistant, answer/hang up calls. 5) Battery: Fine, as advertised, and you can quick charge and get 1.5-2 hours out of a 10-15 minute charge. 6) Case/Battery pack: Awful. It's very big, so it's not going to fit nicely in any pockets. For a lot of women's clothes with tiny pockets, it just won't fit. Also the part of these that goes over your ear can get in the way and stop the battery from charging, so you sometimes have to move it move it around to get these to charge. (it flexes to whatever shape your want) You'll know when you're good because you'll feel the magnet have a good hold.

meh, they are okay
**Pros** - A personal pro but a pro nonetheless: they are my favorite color - Sound quality is decent for people who are not audiophiles and base their headphone choices on things like "they are my favorite color" - They are portable and lightweight - They are so bright that I don't think I will ever misplace them - People oftentimes react to them as they would to a bright venomous snake and refrain from talking to me **Cons** - Not great for small ears, I have to let them hover over my ear because if I put them in properly they will hurt my ears really bad - They disconnect several times a day (they do usually reconnect on their own almost immediately so it is not THAT bad) - Charging them in their carrying case can be tricky - Battery life is either not great or they aren't charging fully in their carrying case because of the previously made statement **EDIT** I have figured out a foolproof way to put them in their case and now the battery life is much longer than before, as in makes it through a whole 8 hours workday, something I cannot say for the more expensive Beats Studio Buds I recently got ** tl;dr -- they do their job but aren't something I'll be sad about once they break, overall glad I bought them on sale because they are not worth full price

Good idea. Poor design.
Ear buds First, let's start with what's good about these earbuds. -They don't have wireless, and are compatible with my iPhone 11. -I went with yellow, which is easy to see in the house, a backpack, or anywhere else. Now to the complaints.... -the fit. The fit is terrible. They do not seat in your ears. I understand this is by design, but the hooks around your ears do not seat well either. There is no way to.make adjustments either. What happens is they just float around, and always feel like they're going to fall out. What's worse, is when running, they do fall out, whether it be sliding/rotating or popping off your ears. I find myself constantly adjusting then, or resetting them, or holding them in place. Incredibly frustrating. -the sound. There is very little bass response in these ear buds. They are all top end. If they went INTO your ears, this wouldn't be a problem. The "seal" and proximity to your inner ear would create the bass. But they don't do that. So you lose all your bass. Even with my iPhone EQ set to bass boost or treble reducer. The sound is odd. -the volume. There really isn't.much. I have my volume dialed back two notches from the top just to hear it without much street noise. As I raise the volume, it gets ear piercingly bitey and brittle. -the power. The case it comes with has NO indicator to how charged these are. They either have juice, or they don't. And that.light is on the inside. -pairing. They.pair well. And for the most part, they do not drop.out. There r a few drop outs tho, so not perfect. However, the problem with pairings they do not stop.pairing. Even when the headphones are in the charging case, they're still looking to pair with your device. This is frustrating when you put them into.your bag or pocket and get into your car, and your phone cuts in an out on the car Bluetooth bc it pairs with the headphones. For the money (I paid $50) you can do much better. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone, and if I lost or broke them I would not replace them. I'm really disappointed. There are better products for running wireless y.

Great Sound Quality and Battery Life
I am a picky headphone/ear bud person. I have a half dozen sets lying around abandoned because they failed me in some way. I was looking for sweat proof wireless ear buds for walking/running outside. I was not looking for complete noise cancellation like my standard head phones as I wanted to be able to hear traffic and the approach of nefarious types but still be able to hear my music or podcasts. And for the love of Pete - they need to stay in my ears while I run, stay connected to my phone while it's in my pocket, and not short circuit from a little sweat. These fit the bill perfectly. The sound quality is pretty darn good (the bass doesn't slap but I don't necessarily expect that from an ear bud). They do not fully cancel noise but you don't lose the sound of your music to the surrounding back ground noise (say a large passing truck or the tweaker screaming in the unSafeway parking lot at the poor guy at the bus stop). Caveat: I have not tried them in a noisy gym yet because 2020 has been nonsense. The around the ear bit is moldable so they stay firmly tucked in my earholes and so far my personal weather system has not shorted them out- it's been cold though, will report back in the summer if they die. The battery life is phenomenal and the charging case is great. Would recommend.
