This product is not their DIY unit. This unit requires you to have special equipment to pull a vacuum to install properly. You will need to buy the DIY version if you plan on installing it yourself. **Q: Is this unit already charged with refrigerant?** A: Yes, this comes with enough refrigerant for the included 16 ft line set. **Q: How many square feet can this unit heat and cool?** A: My 9k is in a 30x15 room with 8ft ceilings and it easily heats and cools from 10 degrees to 100+ without over working the unit. Hopefully that helps **Q: How loud is it inside and out?** A: Outside it is no louder than a range vent. Inside it is very quiet, almost no sound.
