Best battery saw all I’ve bought at a great price.
My second one. Why ? Because I brutalized the last one I had. Cutting cars apart. Cutting trees down. Plus everyday use for 5 years. Still have old one ! It still works. Just wanted a brushless one as well

it worked great for quite awhile
bought November 17, 2021 worked amazing until the internal clips that the battery connects to broke. I have to say we used the heck out of it but what a weird thing to break.....

If you like cutting, have I got the tool for you
This is by far the most useful tool I've ever owned. Definitely get the brushless (this model) over the brushed, so it can run as long as you can keep your arms held up.I bought 2 4.0Ah batteries along with it, and one of them charges to full in less time than I can use up the other.I cut down a half-fallen eucalyptus tree that was about 10" diameter using an undercut-overcut technique. Took about 2 minutes and it came down clean. Then it was really nice for slicing up the branches into truck-size pieces.Today we're installing a door. My wife is getting more comfortable around power tools and so far, this one is her favorite. One of these days I feel like I might come home to a bunch of half walls?

Handy tool for many projects
The RYOBI saw was a great price. It will be handy for many projects. I bought it to use it right out of the box to cut tree branches/limbs. It cut 2-3” limbs with ease. This will be used to replace a gas chainsaw for small trimming jobs.

Be aware of safety lock engagement
Great saw. Lot of power to cut good size branches. Be aware, however, the safety button has to be manually engaged. With the older model, the safety automatically engaged after the saw shut down, This model stays engaged unless you manually put the blade on “lock”. Could be dangerous if not aware when after use each cutting, you have to lock the blade. Highly recommend this saw.
