I used to have a similar light with only 3 heads from a different company. When I opened these lights, I was pretty pleased to see that they were much more sturdy. There's a decent heft to this thing.The four heads light up with no issue. I don't have any of the flickering mentioned in other reviews. I've had my seedlings under the light for several days now, before they got only a few direct hours of direct light through the window. They hadn't grown much in a month. They've been under the lights for a few days now, and my seedlings have honestly experienced more growth under the grow lights then they have in the last several weeks without them. If you're concerned about whether or not your plants will grow under these lights, they will.For the 30 bucks or whatever, this was a no brainer. I've got 72 seedlings under these lights and they should be perfectly fine until it's time to transplant.

Well made and durableWorth its value

I bought this light after I bought a plant shelf and realized the purple light from this same brand was not going to be able to provide enough light to all my plant babies, so I decided get another similar light. I was originally going to get another purple light, but there was a link to this newer version of that light with more of a sunlight coloring. It's bright, that's for sure, and I'm able to position the lights for my upper plants (this light is the top set of lights, while my original purple lights are positioned on the bottom). I took away one star because the arms are shorter by about 3 inches than their purple light, which does make a difference on how much I can position/aim the light compared to the other lights. I did not compare the sizing from the pictures provided on this page and the purple light page before I made my purchase, and I don't know if that would have stopped me from buying this light if I had. I like the color and it works for the upper plants, so I don't plan to return it. It's just something you may want to consider when deciding between this light and the purple light.

I bought this grow light to help my plants survive through the dark winter season. I like that it has four gooseneck arms that are probably the longest I could find on amazon. The clip is pretty sturdy and has little cushion pads so it does not scrape or damage whatever you clip the light to. The light comfortably bathes my plants with light while not overpowering the lighting in the rest of my living room. The light has a slight purple hue which I didn’t expect for some reason, but it’s not SUPER purple and doesn’t bother me at all. The remote functions are super useful and I love that you can change how many lights are on at one time, dim, or time the lights. A small instructional card is included and it’s very intuitive. Plug cord is long enough to reach most outlets. Overall it does a great job and I’m contemplating getting another once I can find a place to clip it.

This is the first grow light I have purchased and was anticipating a cheaply made, light weight lamp. I was pleasantly surprised when I open up the package and saw how sturdy and well built this lamp is. I did have to use a lot of muscle to open the clamp, but that was actually a good thing because once I fastened the clip to my plant table, I realized that I don't have to worry about the lamp being loose and falling off. It's a super sturdy, tight hold. The auto timing and dimming features are great, and the adjustable lamp arms are sturdy and stay in place without sagging. All in all, I am super happy with my purchase.

Works great plants are growing from using it quickly.

These were some of the first grow lights that I bought for starting plants and they worked well for about three years. I would have rated them highly based on this. This last year both of the lights I purchased developed an issue with the dimming feature. Basically the feature will cycle through the five dimmable settings but maxes out at the second lowest (40%) so that the settings are off, 20%, 40%, 40%, 40%, 40%. This isn't very bright and makes the lights minimally useful. I will throw them out at the end of this year's seed starting and go with a different brand. I'm not sure if other brands of lights that I have bought since buying these will also develop this problem or not but will probably not reorder this style. If this style of lights just burn out after a few years then I would consider reordering these because I like the four wands and clamp.

The timer feature is really nice. The light "necks" are shorter than I expected, but the clip is nice and sturdy and clips onto the table perfectly. This is great for my plants as I seed them. TBD if it works well when my herbs and lettuce get taller.I'm a newbie to indoor winter gardening (in MN), so I don't know what to expect. But this seems like a great starter grow light so far.Easy to use, solidly clips onto table, and easy to position where you want the lights.
