Actually, these are GREAT knives at a cheap price...extremely sharp, ergonomic and look really COOL! No, they're not Calphalon but...they don't cost a months' groceries for 4! For the average cook, these will more than do the job. Now, if you MUST have EXPENSIVE cutlery to carve your caviar...by all means, BUY that $300.00 restaurant knife to cut your McNuggets since you probably can't boil an egg anyway. Oh, and if the handle comes off from "normal" use, you're doing it wrong, Cletus...yes, they'll work fine on roadkill, but use a saw to cut through the femur bone! Since they're NOT full tang, just use them on meat, vegatables, etc...use a lopper for low hanging branches...you SHOULDNT need pressure to cut through meat, fish or vegetables...just a SHARP blade as these are! They're gorgeous, functional and come with sturdy sheaths...for 3 bucks and change each, what more do you want? Heck, I bought another set for a gift...

Absolutely best knife set I have owned and used. I have neuropathy and these knives don't slip on me. their sharpner is best I have seen easy to use and it doesn't slip even when my grip weakens. and sharpens so easily. I was shocked to get such great knives at such a great price. I will be recommending these for sure. and Buying more of their products, their customer service is above and beyond any company I have dealt with. arrival was fast quality is great. If it's your first set for starting out or looking for professional quality these are my go to knives. WOW!! I'm impressed these knives are beautiful and very sharp . Also impressed with the speed in which they arrived. I have gotten many compliments on them already . I was turned on to these by a fellow BBQ comp friend who has used them for quite some time and still has not had to sharpen them that's what sold me . These knives are beautiful and came very sharp - no need to sharpen further. I'm not a professional chef but I do spend a lot of time in the kitchen and I HATE a dull knife and I must say that these definitely did not disappoint.

Really great knives! I've been taking some really basic, online cooking courses and very quickly realized my knife block and it's mish mash of random knives wasn't doing me any favors. I chose these ones with help from my son. He wanted looks, I wanted functionality and we both got what we wanted here. They come in these great plastic sheaths, the handles are super soft and nice to hold but also feel very secure. The blades are quite sharp, I could instantly feel the difference in quality. This set gave me the essential knives without costing a ton too. I am really pleased with the purchase!

I absolutely LOVE the color of these knives. Easy to use, easy to clean, nice n sharp (after I sharpened ‘em), BUT, the tips bend if you’re not super careful with them, and no, I never put them in the dishwasher nor are they stored in a drawer—they’re on a knife strip. But I do love the red and black handles.

Best knives I have had. They are very sharp and paper light. They allow for easy grip- handles are non slippery. I wanted to try them out but now I wish that I had bought the block, instead of a few knives.
