Quality and function
Great product, my aquarium was starting to get a bit hazy, this cleared up the problem in just a day, it did take any prerinsing so it saved a little time.

Great Carbon to filter the aquarium water after you provide medication to treat your aqua pats. always a good idea to have a medication treatment tank to isolated your aqua pets for treatment.

Probably excellent for aquariums, good not great for off-label odor-removal uses
Bought this so I could de-perfume a secondhand dresser I bought. I think it did a fair job, although I did set the drawers out in the sun so that did a lot of the work. One drawer has been resistant. However, I also had a plastic spray bottle that I'd previously put mint oil in when spraying to deter insects (mint oil spray: moderately effective) and had been unable to get the mint smell out of. I filled it with a third of a cup (sprayer holds about 2 cups) of charcoal and seems to be very effective. So, I think you would need a lot to de-stink a drawer, but this does work like the fancy charcoal being sold. Someone had mentioned that you should buy the charcoal powder. However, it *is* charcoal so black dust will get everywhere, be careful. Finally, I am using this off label so I don't want to give it fewer stars for that reason. I am sure it is good for aquariums.

Works as it should!
I love this. Its cheap and comes with a lot! I can keep refilling my filter net. I do this monthly so its perfect to have a big amount! Recommended for sure! Be sure to rinse in water after adding to filter net because it will release dark dust from the rocks.

Cat Litter Robot's friend
*I love this stuff & as a pet parent keep it on hand at all times. Back in my fish keeper days it was a must have (& will be again when I get around to reviving my aquaria passion) for now I use it in my cat litter odor mix* Cat Litter Robot's friend We use a Litter Robot & needed an extended odor additive due to the litter lasting longer than your normal pan litter. I am very happy w/ the longevity, smell, dust level, weight, clumping speed/hardness, poop odor blocking, ammonia blocking, etc of our current set up. We have 8 cats, all fixed, 2 boys & 6 girls. 2 Litter Robots (adding a 3rd next year), a tote litter box, & a short tote litter box in their isolation enclosure. W/ this setup we only have to change the litter in the Robots if one of the cats get a sick tummy or when we do a deep clean on the Litter Robot itself. The pans need a full empty maybe every 2 months. Resolved Cat litter smell
I use this in my cat litter in my automatic litter box! I mix it in the litter refill area and in the main litter area and now I donโt smell anything when in walk by the box. Before, I could smell the used litter in the bin when I walked by! I am so glad I found out about this trick. I wish more people knew.

Locks the bad smell and decreases the stuffiness
I use this for the storage room that has bunch of shoes, it helps decrease the smell and the stuffiness of the room even with the door closed. I also use it for my diaper pail for my baby and helps lock the smell in for days. Good quality and good amount for the price
