2020 [Upgraded] 1080P HD Webcam with Microphone, Laptop Desktop PC Web Camera 2MP, 30fps, USB Plug and Play Video Computer Camera for Live Streaming, Gaming, Calling and Conferencing (Black)

Used this webcam for days. It has been useful for my family and myself during these tough LFH/WFH days. It has been able to provide quality video/audio for my family's zoom/teams conferences. Its wide-angle lens provide clear picture even at low light. Built-in Mic might not be the best but it does the work for regular online meetings, and got your job done. Installation is quite easy, just plug in your USB port and you are good to go. I will definitely recommend it to anyone who is on market for a budget webcam.

As of mid-June, 2020, COVID-19 has caused back-orders and price-gouging for the better Logitech HD webcams. I ordered one of these to evaluate for church members wishing to buy webcams to use for our Zoom Sunday School and group meetings.The first copy of this webcam that I received was defective. It worked fine when first plugged into a USB port (upper end gamer PC, Win 10 - 64 bit), but not after the first Shut Down or Restart. Device Manager indicated that there were ID problems with USB driver of the webcam. The only way to get the webcam to work was to disconnect it and re-connect, I tried several different USB ports on my PC. It was returned to Amazon for a replacement.Today, I received the replacement (same model). It works fine, none of the above USB issues. Just noting this issue in case anyone else experiences the same problem.After extensive testing, the bottom line is that this is a pretty decent webcam for Zoom.Video quality grade - B, not as good as the better Logitechs (HD 920 or higher), a little more noise, the video is not quite as sharp, some fisheye distortion if 16:9 is chosen in the Win10-Camera app, but choosing non 16:9 gets rid of the extreme L/R edges of the view and the distortion, choose this view in Camera and I don't see the distortion during a Zoom conference. Fine for Zoom, but IMO the video quality isn't sufficient for serious streaming or stills.Audio grade - B minus, the mics are not that sensitive, turn up the level to max in Zoom Audio Setup and the sensitivity will be adequate (but not great). Quality of the audio is acceptable for conferencing purposes.Build quality - C, commensurate with the price. Attachment mechanism is good, it stays on top of my flatscreen and doesn't move around. It would be nice if there was a LED that turned on to let you know that the camera is active.Overall, a good alternative for Zoom conferencing, this webcam is in-stock at Amazon with 2 day shipping, and the price makes it a good value. Just keep in mind that this is an inexpensive Chinese webcam (but the better Logitechs are also made in China), what you paid for it, and that it is available right now. I recommended this webcam to our church members who were looking for webcams.

This year (2020) has meant that I'm working a lot more from home and having to attend a lot of online meetings and seminars. I did not have a camera or microphone on my computer so I had to buy one. I got help from my brother-in-law who is a computer whiz. I told him I needed something basic, something that included botht the camera and mic in one, something that didn't require a learning curve to set up, something not very expensive and something I could buy on Amazon. He did some research and chose this one for me. It's small in size and so easy to use. I literally just have to plug it into a USB port, place it on top of my monitor and it's ready to go. No one on the receiving end of our meetings have said anything negative about the picture or sound quality on my end so I'm assuming it looks good for them. The only negative I have is that the way it gets positioned on the monitor is not very secure. It's a hinged piece that clips over the edge of the monitor. But the hinge is very loose which means it slips a lot. It takes a few minutes to get it positioned so it will stay in place. Once I even had to use a rubber band to keep it from moving. But, it does what I need it to do and when the meeting is over, I can unplug it and put it away until I need it the next time. So, overall, this was a good choice for me or anyone who needs just a basic camera and microphone.

I bought one of these in July '21 and a second in October 21. The picture quality is very good for a low-cost camera. It is somewhat difficult to securely attach to one's laptop.The one I bought in July '21 suddenly stopped working completely. The one I bought later is still working, but I wonder for how long.

Product worked perfect right out of the box. Plug and play!It has a built in microphone, which is really convenient. The camera sets right on top of your monitor and stays in place with the spring assisted mount.I installed this camera less than 15 minutes before the online appointment I had with my VA MH provider. We had no issues with the audio or visual connection.

Worked intermittently. It would force freezes on Zoom if any adjustments were made to settings. Bought it specifically for a critical webinar performance. Fortunately, detailed testing revealed it was useless and I am reverting to my MacBook Pro camera for this critical meeting. No instructions, not information. Photo quality wasn't bad. Frames per second sucked, so images were jerky. There must be better products out there.

Thanks for the fast shipment. I received the product within one day and just on time for the online streaming class. The picture is clear and my classmates said that they can see me clearly. It is pretty easy to install and works fine with my MacBook Pro. The only thing I can complain is the packaging. It seems too cheap for such a good quality product.

My camera and microphone just stopped working all of a sudden and during this time of videoing, I needed it to work. But rather than go to Geek Squad and get it fixed, I decided to try out this little guy. For the price and for what I was looking for (a working camera and microphone, after letting it use my microphone),it was perfect. It works well as a replacement camera. I haven't had the chance to try it out on any app but I'm sure that the device being able to access and be connected to my computer to allow me to have a camera and microphone will work fine with any app (zoom, webex, Google hangouts, etc.).
