Will a standard 2.5" drive fit?

The dimensions of the compartment are 5.74”x2.99”. So yes, a 2.5” SSD drive should fit. However, make fore you leave enough space for the cord.

Anyone able get their usb-c port to charge?

The ports should all work. However this item is not reccomended by Tesla and it causes problems electrically. I would not use this item. I had to remove mine.

Should this work with an apple magsafe phone charger? it does not seem to power it from the c port.

If you have a Model 3 with two USB-A ports this device will not increase the wattage on the USB-C port. You can still get power from it, but it won't be sufficient to power a MagSafe charger at full speed.
