Are these real bubbles, or just floating particles like some bubble lights I've seen?

Are these ok to use on a real (not artificial) tree? Are they hot to touch?

They get slightly warm, but not hot we used them three years in a row on our real tree.

Do these lights also play music?

No, these are just bubble lights with no sound.
