Very good quality product
I've tried Mayco colours for a third firing cook over an already glazed piece. The result was stunning even at 980 degrees. Beautiful colours and vivid pigments. It's a little bit difficult leaving glazes over the surface; they grips a little..., but maybe it's only a question of best water control. However they're a great product.

Glazes in a Pinch...
I registered for a ceramic class and was unaware I had to furnish my own glazes. I ordered these glazes and they are working out quite well. Price for the glazes was decent and the order includes all basic colors. Good deal!

Beautiful and vibrant
Mayco glazes are the best. In my opinion of course. These are great used for detail or underglaze under a clear coat. Clear coat if raw clay shows but these are glossy and beautiful even on their own

No ‘book’ (barely instructions), you can buy cheaper elsewhere
The ‘how to’ book is a one sided 8x11 with very little instruction. It is not worth the $10 price difference between buying this from Amazon and the ceramic shop.

Mixes like paint to make colors how you want them
These colors blend beautifully and I used three coats so the color would really come through on the piece I was working on. I was very pleased

Great colour and stable glazes
Great sample pack! Used on pottery for precision painting and they don’t run so that’s a bonus because glazes can be unpredictable. Colours are vibrant at low firing but some of the colours lose their shade at mid range firing - pinks and purples - but this is clearly mentioned upfront so you can’t hold that against the product. Would buy again

easy to use
although an under glaze, these have just come out of bisque fire and they are really glossy. don't get me wrong the coulr is really nice and they are easy to use, but not meant to be glossy. i did not receive a book
