Q: I purchased the colorful climbing roses and planted them about a month ago and still havent even got a sprout yet. Were these even actually rose seed.

Rose seeds are the most difficult seeds to sprout. There is a process you have to go through. They just can't be planted in the ground. They gave to be cold stratified for 45-60 days. It takes about 3 months for them to germinate. I won't start mine until this fall, 3 months in trays in the fridge, then to a sunny spot in my breakfast nook until I get the third leaf, then in individual pots until May to plant. It is quite the process, but well worth the rewards. If this is your first time with Rose seeds, just do a little research. 🌹🥰
