House of Wax Music From the Motion Picture

The movie was good, but the music is better. The CD has songs from Deftones, The Prodigy, Disturbed, and lots more! Fun, if you like metal.

I bought this cd since I'm a John Ottman fan & it says JOHN OTTMAN on the top of the page. Guess what? To my dismay I got the soundtrack! Not that it's bad....I'm enjoying it BIG TIME!But for those of u looking for the John Ottman score....this is not it. :-(

Great soundtrack. I recommend.

Upon seeing the track list for this soundtrack, I was instantly, and now sadly, compelled to see the film just to witness the context in which they were used. Would the Deftones' awesome "Minerva" accompany a brutal murder scene? Could New Order's classic "New Dawn Fades," notably one of the last songs on the tracklist, play during the "final confrontation" scene that every teen horror flick tends to contain? That would be incredible! So I bought a ticket. *Sigh* I should have used those ten dollars to buy the album. None of these songs play any kind of part during any scene in the film. Most of them are only used for a few seconds during a transition or something, like "Minerva" which plays for about four seconds over a shot of a car on the highway. Lame. And by the time the end credits rolled, I became painfully aware that "New Dawn Fades" would not even be used IN the film. After collapsing from a wave of sheer depression, and after My Chemical Romance's "Helena" (a good song, and not even on the CD!) finished playing over the first half of the credits, New Order finally showed up. It soothed the hurting as I stumbled out of the theater in tears. But buy the album. I think the songs on there play from beginning to end.

I really really enjoyed the movie. I wasn't expecting an oscar winning movie, unlike you haters out there, but I was entertained and thats what matters. For the future readers who are dying to know the name of the song that Paris Hilto strips to, its called AUTOMATIC by Brothers Conti. They're this new duo so it might be kind of hard to find their stuff, their album hasn't even come out yet, but that same song is on mcdonalds commercial. Hopefuly this helps!

I think the soundtrack went pretty well with the movie, I would like to know what song paris strips too and the song when the credits first start playing I know it's "My chemical Romance" but it's not the song thats on the soundtrack atleast I dont think it is...........I like this movie It's scary at some parts but it's more disturbing than it is scary and there are some really gross parts too but all in all I liked this movie.

Does anyone know what the song is that Paris Hilton strips to for her boyfrind before she dies in the movie? It's on the radio all the time but I still dont know what it is. Why didnt they put that in the soundtrack?

This is a very good album. Great soundtrack with some great artists. The Prodigy, Stutterfly, My Chemical Romance, Disturbed, Marilyn Manson, and many more. A great combination.
