The media could not be loaded. Good quality aluminum cups. A little wobbly with stacking but no big deal. The balls have good weight to them. They are 1 1/8 inch red balls. The cups fit lacrosse ball size loads. Note they are more of a satin finish than a shiny polished finish. I posted pics and a video. As far as the paper instructions, it provides the traditional beginner basic routine without final loads. The instructions seemed clear to me granted I’m reading it through magician’s lenses.

This is a pretty good set for the money. The cops are nice aluminum and the balls are a good size though I wish they were compressible because it would be easier for smaller hands to conceal in their hands. Overall Step Up Above what came in the magic kit we had prior

I was surprised at the quality of these cups. I've had multiple sets over the years, and I would feel comfortable using these anytime, anywhere. What I find particularly notable is the interior room -- these set over a tennis ball easily. The finish is plain aluminum, not chromed, so they're not that flashy. But, overall, just a very good set of cups and balls for the magician or hobbyist for a minimal investment. Recommended.

Despite its surprisingly modest cost, this is an excellent set with which to perform a trick that, somehow, never gets old.The cups are sturdy, flashy aluminum. Crocheted red balls are well-made and a bit larger than many others, but you can still stash three balls snugly in a two-stack and show the bottom one empty. The cups' bottoms are concave so when inverted there's less chance a ball will roll off, delay the show, and mark the worker as an amateur. Nice basic instruction sheet keeps you from having to wade through the usual video gobbledygook - wish more magic stores did it this old-fashioned way. Plus, the set came faster than expected.All in all, a great set for the beginner or the seasoned magician as well.

These are nice, especially for a beginner, no regrets purchasing. However, I also ordered the chop cup to make a full set, BUT as you can see, the chop cup is shiny. According to the balls and cup photos, they are also supposed to be shiny, but they are not. Again, no regrets just letting others know who want to order both, chop cup is shiny.

I have been looking for some cups in the housewares section I could use for a cups and ball routines that would be cheaper than the expensive sets, but still metal and large enough for parlor style shows. In the end this was the best set of cups I can afford at the moment, and they are fine. They are light and aluminum, so they will get dings, but they will serve the purpose until I get a set of Legends cups.

USUALLY ONE OF THE CUPS AND BALLS ARE MAGNETIC, NOT THE CASE SO REALLY NO POINT IN BUYING THESE YOU MIGHT AS WELL JUST USE GUMBALLS AND COFFEE MUGS FROM YOUR HOUSE...... SAVE YOUR MONEY PLUS THESE LOOK NOTHING LIKE WHAT THEY SHOW IN THE PICTURE
