Absolutely amazing sound coming from this amp. It’s a bit pricey but totally worth it. I paired it with Klipsch Cornwall IV’s.

The best sound quality l ever have listened in my life. Update after burning over 3 months, the sound becomes smoother and very natural. This amp is a top notch for serious audiophiles. Sound stage is wide both vertically and horizontally, also front and back. Very clear sound separation. It produces all the sound recorded the way it is meant. For your reference, speaker I use is Klipsh Heresy Ⅳ with Mogami cable, bi-wiring connection.

Sound and build quality is great. Top notch product. Bass is very dynamic. Great sound staging. Very natural sounding. Toe tapping good. Looks beautiful. BUT…when the box arrived it was obvious the product had opened, used, was cosmetically damaged and was not a new product as advertised. Amazon if you read this you should give me another 50% off for selling me a damaged, used product. Feel ripped off.

I was hesitant to order the Yamaha A-S3200 as it is a substantial investment. Once connected I was treated to superb sound quality. I've never experienced anything close to it. After a few weeks the amp has smoothed out further. The only negative I have found is that the volume knob is lacking the red led light always present on earlier Yamaha amps. This light allows you to see the "level" you have the volume set. To help me see the placement of the volume knob I attached an arrow from a yellow post-it product which is easily removed without damage. Pretty small issue easily rectified. No "buyers remorse" - it's that good. UPDATE 4-10-2022 - Since I purchased this AS-3200 I have continued to enjoy it daily and it continues to provide me with amazing sound. Some folks talk about their systems not sounding good on certain days - I have yet to have a day with this amp where it has not sounded perfect. Every piece of recorded music has been produced in its own way with imperfections that a sound system cannot fix but this Yamaha delivers its same sound consistently day in and day out.

I waited a year before writing a review on the Yamaha A–S3200BL. I couldn't be happier with this beast of a receiver, though I must admit I was somewhat intimidated by the hefty price tag and concerned whether it would live up to my expectations and it has exceeded those expectations. First thing I do in the morning is take it out of standby and it's running until I put it back in standby sometimes 22+- hours later. It's a workhorse, whether I am streaming through an Eversolo Master DMP A6, or playing directly from my turntable. The A-S3200 powers a pair of Klipsch Forte IV (bi-wired) speakers and a SVS SB16-Ultra Subwoofer. Granted, it's not a receiver for the multitude, but if you're looking for a solid retro style receiver, this is it.

Yamaha makes excellent audio components and thus amp is the best of the best. Not only is it built like a tank it sounds incredible and looks beautiful. If you complain about the sound then you need better speaker matching.
