Slappa SL-D2I-DVD Storage Box, CD, CD Storage Box Black

These are fabulous! I have reduced a huge bulky volume of DVDs into such a small space. A space-saving wonder. Heavily constructed, durable-feeling, attractive. I say "GO"!

This box is too deep to hold CDs conveniently, and too short to hold DVDs. It is described as being "6.6" inches high - but it is 7 inches high. CDs and CD booklets are both under 5 inches tall. Why the extra 2 inches? If you are trying to save space this box makes little sense.

The dividers fit perfectly into the storage boxes they were designed for - the Slappa brand ones, which are nice boxes, and fit the cd sleeves perfectly. There are 10 dividers per package. The labels are not written on, so you can organize your collection into categories as you see fit, instead of alphabetically or some other predesigned order you may or may not want. They are thick quality plastic and come with multi-color bordered labels that you attach yourself. Please look at my other reviews for more Slappa product reviews. I purchased all of these items with my own money and was not paid or asked to write reviews for Slappa. I am just so pleased not only with the products, as my husband and I are extremely picky, but also with the amazing customer service I received, that I felt compelled to let everyone know what a wonderful experience I've had with Slappa and their products. I've called about 5 times now and always got a person on the phone right away and they have worked with me and spent time answering all my questions. Order from Slappa! After researching this product in depth and watching all the product videos and reading customer reviews on many different sites as well as on their website, my husband and I ordered a hefty amount of d2i and d3i pages for our extensive DVD and CD home collection, along with theses boxes and dividers to store them in when not in use. My husband is extremely particular on the quality and usability/portability of our collection and wants a product that keeps the jackets with the disks and also provides a soft and durable sleeve to hold the disks securely in place. With such high expectations, we were pleased to find all of these qualities and more, in one company- SLAPPA! Not only was the quality superb, the shipping quick and packaged well, but the customer service with the company was outstanding! Can you believe there is a company who still values the customer and gives great service AND great quality! - that's SLAPPA!!! I continue to be a customer and will continue to order CD/DVD storage products exclusively from SLAPPA for as long as this company exists. Don't hesitate to place your order TODAY! You will be more than satisfied! FYI: I have ordered most products from Slappa and tried to order a few out of stock items through Amazon. The products were the same, but Amazon was also out of stock of the same products and sent me the same replacement product Slappa did. I prefer ordering through Slappa as they offer a better price, sometimes offer sales, know their products inside and out, and can always be counted on to get a person on the phone without the annoying menus.

I bought several boxes from Slappa in previous years, and they were great boxes! I still use them all the time. I bought some additional boxes in December 2013, and the material quality is extremely different much more flimsy. Both of the boxes I bought had the label holders fall off in less than one month (they were glued on), and I wasn't even using them yet! Previous boxes had the label holders stitched on, and the boxes were much more rigid. I don't mind paying a little more for a higher quality product. That no longer exists here. I will not be buying anymore of these cheap boxes from Slappa again.
