Surprisingly strong
I’m not using these for any heavy duty purpose, but even so, I am thoroughly surprised by how strong their magnetism is. It was so strong that I had to be very careful where I stick them because trying to detach them or was a struggle! So I’m very pleased with their strength.

Great magnets, worth every penny
The are great magnets. Strong enough for my wife to hang her clothes on (she works out at work in the morning, so she puts her work attire out on one of these hooks the night before. They also make great fridge magnets as nothing you put on the fridge is going to end up being too heavy for them to handle...

Just right
Placed on my black refrigerator. Love that they blend in. Sturdy and strong magnets. They hold my oven mits on side of refrigerator.

Strong???? I don't think so!
I ordered these because of the great reviews. Each magnet is rated for 28lbs. I used two of them to hang a small spice rack (weighing only 2.2 pounds) on the side of my refrigerator. I turned my back to gather the spice jars to put into the rack and the rack had dropped all the way to the floor of the refrigerator. What?? I couldn't believe my eyes. I tried them again on another metal surface to see if it was my refrigerator. The same thing happened so it wasn't the fridge. I then tried to hold up the spice rack with the 2 for $1.98 hooks that I got at Walmart and the spice rack stayed up. However, when I loaded 3 jars of spice on it, it started to sink too. I requested a return on these the same evening.

Ok but I don't trust that they will hold 28 lbs
Was not a huge fan. They don't seem like they hold 28 lbs to me. The hook part unscrews from the base pretty easily.
