Sturdy & well made as you'd expect from the brand.I got the wood finish one, which in my opinion looks smart.Very easy to assemble, I had it up and working within 10 minutes.It moves a lot of air on the high setting, i.e. number 3.However it's noisy so if you want one to cool the bedroom whilst sleeping I wouldn't recommend it.For use in any other room it does an excellent job.I'm very happy with it; it cools my large living room nicely.I think the build quality and it's effectiveness justify the price tag.

I've bought a few fans over the year and not been satisfied - some were too loud, some were not powerful enough, some broke down fast, however this fan purchase has been the best one so far.The assembly instructions were easy to follow, it took less than 15 mins (if that even). The power of this fan is strong, it somehow feels like it is blowing cold air towards you even during a very hot day (something I found that other fan brands struggled with as they would generate warm air instead).As for noise, I would say despite the size of the fan, it is quieter than other fans I've had. Whilst it is not completely silent, it is soft enough that it just becomes gentle background noise.Best of all, it looks great too! The black finish and the wood effect makes the fan look high quality.

Gorgeous looking fan, bought the ‘greige’ colour and it looks expensive and stylish. Powerful too. Operated by an old fashioned knob with 3 speeds; height is andjustable; oscillating option. Two year guarantee which is easy to activate. Delighted with the purchase.

I can easily tolerate it, even during nighttime use.Quality:The fan exudes a premium quality feel. It's well-built and seems durable.Weight:It's not overly heavy, making it easy to move around the room as needed.Stability:The fan offers good stability, which is essential, especially in a household with kids or pets.Settings:One minor inconvenience is that the speed control is located at the back of the fan, not in front. It would have been more convenient to have it upfront. Also, having only three speed settings might limit customization for some users.Airflow:Despite the minor quirks, the fan delivers a strong and satisfying airflow, keeping me comfortable even on hot days.Pros:Stylish and premium design.Tolerable noise level.Good stability.Strong airflow.Cons:Speed control at the back, not in front.Limited to three speed settings.Note to Manufacturing Team:I would suggest considering moving the speed control to the front for added convenience. Purchased this in the spring for my high rise apartment and it’s been brilliant. Really powerful even on the lower settings. The colourway is stylish so it sits perfectly in the corner of the room when it’s not in use. It does make a noise when it’s switched on (what fan doesn’t) but it isn’t enough to disrupt me sleeping. Lightweight but sturdy enough for me to move between rooms

Really solid fan with a heavy metal base that protects it from being toppled. Which is important, because I knocked our previous fan over whilst trying to move it, and it fell apart when it hit the ground. This one is far more stable: assembly was easy, though care still has to be exercised. It looks attractive with the wood effect stand and blades, and even on the lowest setting it pumps out an impressive indoor blast. Good range on the "air-spread" setting, too. It's quite noisy in the bedroom at night so we've purchased small bedside fans and will keep this one in the lounge.To sum up yes, its a lot more expensive than the cheap, rather flimsy models at the budget end of the market, but money well spent, I reckon because it should last. Disappointed to note, however, that whilst the words "Russell Hobbs--a British icon since 1952" are emblazoned proudly on the box, the fan was in fact made in China.

I bought this in 2022 for £54 and it's been really good: I think it's sleek-looking and effective. BUT the current price of £223 is nothing short of price-gouging. I think it's shocking to be cashing in on the current climate crisis. There's no way something should be costing more than 300% more than it did 4 years ago.

This is a very good fan,cooling performance is very good,not too noisy,all body parts are metal,very easy to assemble and going to buy one more for another bedroom.

Great fan, shipping from UK to Australia was fast. Looks great, quiet and good air flow. Has a standard UK plug.

When I was buying this product it was written in the description this fan comes with remote control. However when we opened the box there was no remote control with it. One of the main point of my decision to purchase this fan was Remote control. Hence a bit disappointed. However fan is good.

Ordered the item, did not specify it was a UK power plug. Can’t use the thing. Now have to go buy an adapter. Not good.
