I have these on my Civic, which, of course, doesn't have welcome lights. These are nice and bright at evening/night time, and I've gotten some compliments on how nice they look because of the branding. If your vehicle DOES have door lights, I'd recommend just changing the actual door light itself to an LED projector.Make sure you have three AAA batteries per light on hand; they do not come with them. Also, ensure that the magnets are close enough to the light sensor area so that they actually turn off when the door is closed – you'll want to be sitting inside the car for this so you can actually see the light turn on/off.I didn't bother using the adhesive tape that came with them – that tape could barely stick to a wall on its own. I just used some small indoor mounting squares, and those worked perfectly.

Cool addition to the car but it does stick out like a sore thumb. If only this device was a lot smaller but that won't happen in the near future. The light is not that bright, so imagine if they used bigger batteries or different bulbs. It's only the strength of a projection lightbulb back in the 90s.

I had to do some maneuvering with the metal pieces because my door frame at the bottom isn’t very wide or flat but I made it work and I love these. They are crisp and bright!
