You will have to search out type, water amount, and cooking time on the net. This unit comes WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS.

This rice cooker consists of a sturdy plastic bowl with a snap-on lid and an inner cover for controlling boil-overs. It also comes with its own paddle for scooping out the rice. The directions are very straightforward and you can cook white rice in 10 minutes, BUT... I'd strongly recommend you soak the rice for at least 30 minutes beforehand, otherwise it comes out kind of "al dente". Also note that it's really only designed to cook about 1 1/4 cups of rice at a time; if you're cooking for more than two people you might want to look for a larger cooker instead.

Q: Can you use regular bag rice, or is this product use for instant and quick rice only ?

I only use regular bag rice. It suggests cooking for 10 minutes which is way too long for instant or quick. If I'm cooking Brown rice I even extend to 12-14 minutes.

I think it cooks 4 cups of rice, but I am not sure. It is very small.
