Review: My Life Is Change!!! - There were several issues blocking me from having not just a good nights sleep, I was willing to settle for just a descent nights sleep - I use a CPAP Machine every night, I have a Himalayan Salt Lamp about 3 feet from my eyes that produces ambient light 24 hours a day, and I do not produce enough Melatonin for my body to sleep all through the night, I usually (and my husband does too, sometimes) have to get up at least once for a potty run. I used to use Tart Cherry Concentrate which worked beautifully, but either I got used to it and it stopped working, or the increased amounts of meds I take nightly affected my sleep. Because I would wake up periodically, I never got into a deep REM sleep that then also had its own side effects, anxiety and frequent headaches. All of these factors resulted in a disturbed nights' sleep, and an overweight, irritable, sleepy person during the day / and I said overweight because I was too tired during the day to do much more than sit, watch TV, and along with eating - well, you know what happened.... So I started using this sleep mask and like the difference between night and day, my sleeping habits gradually changed. The first change (and as it turned out, the ONLY one necessary ) I made was using this sleep mask - within a week, I noticed I was waking up refreshed!!! I was not waking up with a headache. **Q: There's a plastic or metal clip on the adjustment band. It looks like your head would rest right against it and would not be comfortable?**
A: The clips are painful for me and I’m a side sleeper. I woke up with one embedded into my head. The band  hits the top of my ears as well. I covered the clips with quilt batting. If that doesn’t work, I’m sending the mask back.

**Q: Can I use Woolite to wash this?**
A: Yes, you can. I have had this mask since July of 2015, and it gets heavy use. I occasionally sweat at night, so keeping it clean is important. I sanitize my stainless steel sink, fill it about 1/4 of the way with cool water, and put in a touch of Woolite Delicates (with the pink cap). It’s safe to use on silk. I gently agitate the water with the mask, let it soak for a few minutes, then rinse and gently squeeze the excess water out. I place it between two fresh pieces of paper towel to gently pat the mask and remove excess water, then just hang it from the shower curtain pole to air dry. I use this 8-10 hours a day, if not more, and this has helped to keep the mask in great shape.

**Q: Does it leave the nose free, unencumbered so it can breathe just the way it does in daytime, or is there pressure so breath is slightly more effort?**
A: I have a very small nose and often have trouble with it being blocked by any number of things, but this mask does a great job. There's just a little pressure across the eyes but the nose is completely unobstructed

**Q: I suffer from migraines and anything tight around the head can trigger them. Have other migraine-sufferers used this mask? How did you like it?**
A: I have chronic migraine and need good blackout, but nothing too tight on my head, which is a hard combo to find. I have a drawer full of sleep masks--some were failures, others were good but the strap stretched out to where they are no longer functional. This mask is my go-to mask now. Very soft, not super thick, very adjustable, strap has not stretched out too much. Depending on the shape of your face/nose, how much light gets through might vary, but I love this mask!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely invaluable part of my sleep routine

Hey everybody. I’ve had this mask for almost five years (ordered from Amazon July 7, 2015), and I love it. It’s incredibly comfortable, and I never notice the little adjustment clip on the back of my head, even though I shave my head. I can’t feel it at all. I have odd sleep patterns because I’m on disability for my back. I might go to bed at a normal evening hour, or just as the sun is coming up. I also sleep quite a lot during the day. The mask blocks put nearly all the light. I’d say between 90-95%. A very tiny amount is perceptible along the edges if I open my eyes, but not enough that it impedes my sleep. I’ve found by positioning it more effectively, that’s a non issue. I’m typically a side sleeper, but also sleep a good deal on my back if my back’s issues demand it. I have to sleep with a pillow between my legs after shattering the femur in my left leg, and having it reconstructed. So, when I wake up, and flip sides, positioning that pillow as needed, I need to fall right back asleep. This mask makes that possible, even if it’s in the middle of the afternoon. Many a time I’ve awakened with the mask on thinking it was the dead of night, and it was mid day. I have light sheets and pillowcases (light beige, currently), and have never noticed any issue where my pillowcases show a stain from the mask, and trust me, this mask gets heavy use. 8-10 hours, or more, every day. It’s lightweight, and pretty cool. If I put it on a bit too tight, I do sweat a little, so washing the mask every few months helps to keep it fresh. I sanitize my stainless steel sink, fill it with cool water, and put a tiny bit of Woolite Delicates in, and gently agitate the water. After a few minutes of soaking, I take it out, gently squeeze it, and press it between a few pieces of paper towel. Then, I hang it from the shower curtain rod to air dry. When bedtime comes around, it’s dry, and ready to go. I washed it that way when I first got it. I have pretty sensitive skin, so anything that will come in contact with my face, especially, gets washed first. Perhaps that’s why I’ve had no staining. I’m a fairly light sleeper, but with this mask and a nice pair of earplugs, I can sleep whenever I need to. After daily use for these five years, and multiple washings, it’s still in really good shape. I’ve noticed the tiniest bit of fraying along the bottom right seam, so I’ll be buying a backup just to have on hand if it worsens. But considering the length of time I’ve had it, and and the heavy workload it puts in, there’s no way I could complain. I need sleep to be able to function at all, and this little mask has been a Godsend.
