Is the chaise separate from the sofa? Is the entire back 78" long when shipped? We need smaller pieces to get upstairs; 78" would be too long.

Dear customer, Please don't worry, we will divide the sofa into three packages for transportation. In fact, the dimensions of the three packages are 27.75 "(L)" * 27.75 "(W) * 22" (H), 46.5 "(L) * 27.75" (W) * 12.6 "(H) and 46.5" (L) * 24 "(W) * 14.9" (H).

Do the pillow com me off or are they sewed on?

Dear customer, Thank you for interested in our sectional couch, our back cushion or seat cushion are separate with sofa frame, two ottomans also separate with 3-seater sofa, you can move them freely, hoping my answer can help you.
