Sensor wiring is too short!
Ordered one and it showed up not as described. Product needs to be 12 inches long as described but is actually 3.5 inches long. Thought maybe it was a mistake so we requested a replacement. It showed up today and is the same length as the first sensor! Would not recommend unless you’re willing to splice the wires to make it the correct length….

Worked as expected!
Fridge was freezing up and running all the time. This little part fixed it and it is working like a champ! Do your research first to make sure this is your problem.

Resistance reads at 3,050 ohms @ 72 deg F and 22,030 ohms @ 0 deg F, which is within spec for this particular model.

Complete and utter failure of a product. Don't waste your time, money, and foot in the fridge!
The freezer side my fridge was too cold. It was a problem because I couldn't scoop the ice cream! So I decided to fix the problem and ordered two of these thermisters. Having too much trust in the rating of the product, I neglected to test the purchased sensors and installed them. The size of the new sensors are too big, and I had to drill out one of the locations where the old sensor was. After getting the new sensors installed, everything seemed to work. Hours later, I checked the fridge, and the temperature was too warm. The ice cream was easy to *pour* out! Then, I checked the specifications of the sensors. Wrong value! As in completely wrong, not even in the right ballpark! Did I order the wrong part? Nope, double and triple checked, it was the right part for a Kenmore 106.52552100 fridge. I just put the old sensors back so that at least the fridge is cold enough. I'll let it be too cold for a few days until I get the OEM sensors somewhere else. Obvious, I am returning this purchase!
