This bivy fulfilled my expectations. Took it to Alaska and slept on Frozen Tundra. It worked great.Zippers were well made and the fabric seemed tough for such a light weight bag. What really surprised me was the fact that it added r-value to my sleeping bag. The first night I did not zip it up and got cold, after that it stayed zipped and it was a lot warmer. It did sweat one night and got my sleeping bag a little wet. Probably my fault though, I had it pulled over my head and breathed in it all night!!!!

Great in colder weather, but it doesn't breathe well at all. I woke up with my sleeping bag all damp from my own perspiration. It was about 35 degrees that night. The price is right, so since I only use it once a year for sleeping in a snow cave, I'll keep it. It's well made, and the dual zippers are a big plus! Rated 3 stars due to lack of breathe ability.

This bivy sack worked well on a winter camping trip to keep moisture inside the tent from getting the sleeping bag wet.

This is a great bag! Light weight and really durable. I took it on a 60 hour backpack trip and I had no problem getting it put away and it was really comfortable when I was able to get some much needed sleep. Would definitely buy this bag again. The company that we bought it through was quick and efficient and had my bag to me on time.

Kept me dry in my bag during night-time rain but did build up condensation inside. not enough to be a problem. Great for the price and lightweight.

Just right for back packing! Much easier than a tent! Well Made!

Nice and lightweight. Bought for my son to go on a survival weekend with training from Navy Seals. He slept under a tarp on a night it rained and slept just fine.

in denen man wirklich Platz hat. Wasserdicht ist er, jedoch sollte man diesen beim drausen schlafen mit einem Tarp (wasserdichte Plane) kombinieren als Dach, denn starkregen ist kein Biwi gewachsen. RV auf beiden Seiten, gut abgedeckt mit Stoffplane, Nähte gut, Gewicht gut, Packmaß ok, Kaputze gut, Platz gut, Atmung eher mittel (bei komplett geschlossenem Biwi werden sie im Verlauf der Nacht durch die verdunstende Körperflüssigkeit etwas feucht).In dieser Preisklasse jedoch sehr zu empfehlen. Kleiner Tipp noch: um unschöne Löcher zu verhindern den Schlafplatz etwas polstern, z.B. mit Blättern, Gras oder ähnlichem. Also nicht auf Gestrüpp schlafen.

Great Bivy sack, at a decent price, it packs up to a nice size in its own sack, or even smaller if you put it in a compression sack or roll it up with your sleeping bag, it is nice and roomy fits both my mummy bag and my rectangular bag with no problem, only thing it needs is longer zipper pulls to make it easier to locate at night, but they were easy to add myself, would definitely recommend these bivys to anyone. Not as lightweight as some others but this is perhaps due to the thicker, stronger and more water resistant material. I used this bivvy several times over winter and spring and am very happy with it. It's large size easily accommodates my -30 dec C sleeping bag.

I modified this to fit around the outside of my hammock, it blocks the wind and keeps my hammock, sleeping bag and underquilt dry and warm.
