THIS THING IS A MONSTER IT CHEWED RIGHT THRU 18" THICK CONCRETE
I purchased this jack hammer because the concrete steps to frt door and sidewalk settled and were sinking inward and angled causing problems. I tried sledge hammer only to realize that no matter how hard I swung it, it would not even crack the concrete. Priced renting jack hammer about same size as this 1 but everyone wanted $190 for 3 hours or $600 for 5 days and you have to supply your own chisel tips. I purchased this and was amazed how well it worked. It came with 2 different chisel bits gloves and mask in a nice carrier with wheels to roll it around all I had to do was fill it with oil and let it run for couple minutes and off I went. Ad said this hammer would break thru 4-8" of solid concrete so I wasn't sure it would cut thru the 18"x5'x 5' concrete pad and 8-12" sidewalk about 20' long and 3' wide, but this jack hammer ate right thru all of it and I only used 1 of the chisels that came with it and that is still in great condition. I would recommend this to anyone that has concrete or rock that they need to destroy. this will save you time, money and muscle aches. The neighbors all laughed when I started my project but now they all want to borrow my jack hammer! I forgot to mention I priced several companies to do the job and they came in between $1500-$2500, this jack hammer saved me at least $1300 so I'd say it's worth every penny, THANK YOU VIVOHOME FOR THE JACK HAMMER AND THANK YOU AMAZON !! You both saved me a lot of money and back pain

Worked better than I expected
I needed a product to break up a 2 x 2 slab of concrete that was 7" thick. I tried doing it by hand using a sledge hammer but that proved impossible for me. I looked into renting a jack hammer and based on the cost decided to purchase this product and I am thrilled I did. The product came with the proper bits to power through the concrete slab with ease and are readily available for purchase should they need to be replaced for any reason. It took about 45 minutes to complete the job with this jack hammer. Make sure to add oil to the resevour before use and you should be good to go. I am very happy with my purchase and would do it again if needed.

Impressed
I bought this for some bedrock sections in the backyard. I was skeptical at first as it is pretty solid rock and the price is very decent for this hammer. I was pleasantly surprised at how powerful and effective this hammer is. I did receive a broken hammer at first with a broken case but have returned it and received the new one already. 100% worth it, would recommend for concrete or those annoying backyard rocks that prevent you from mowing straight. lol.

Outstanding for the price
I had a 6” light weight concrete bathroom floor to remove and this little hammer was cheaper than renting one so I gave it a shot and it was pretty good. It draws a lot of amps and would more than likely trip a 15 amp breaker. the circuit I was using had a 20 amp breaker and this thing would really dim the lights. Everything worked well though the owners manual didn’t say what kind of oil to fill it with so I just used some engine oil I had in my shed. The only problem I had was when using the tool once the bit had gone through the concrete and it was pulled out I would have to slam the bit down on the surface otherwise it wouldn’t hit like the bit had to be pushed back into the tool body before it could come in contact with the part hitting it. It does cause a major problem because it makes it nearly impossible to use on a wall or somewhere you can’t slam it down.

Amazing tool and fun to use
I had to demolish an old retaining pool wall probably amounted to 10 tons. Contractors wanted $5-6K to do it. I bought this instead and got it done in about 16 hours. The nature of the wall meant I had to demolish from the top down but also get at it horizontally. This isn't super powerful like the big pro pneumatic ones but it's light enough to hand hold. Plus it's still powerful enough to do a big demo pretty effectively. I needed three dumpsters to haul away all the concrete but I still saved $4K doing the job myself.

Pleasantly Surprised by Performance
Considering the cost, I had fairly low expectations for this hammer. The cost to buy was about the cost to rent a similar tool, so usually in that case I’ll buy a tool. I had a 3” thick 4’x6’ concrete part of a walkway that had a root grown under it, cracking and pushing up the slab. Using the included pointed chisel I was able to beak the slab up in about 1 foot square pieces in just under 5 minutes. This tool is fairly heavy at 43 pounds, and comes with NO oil in it. I had some 0-30 weight and it worked fine. Need 40 weight for cold weather. I have a brick wall to demo and I’m sure this tool will make short work of that job. The hardest part of owning this tool is cleaning up the concrete or slab you’ve hammered up. Awesome tool for the price in my opinion. Forget using a sledgehammer or renting a high end tool and purchase this beast.

Decent but was not exactly what the description said.
First off the case was broken. Second the jackhammer doesn’t have a oil fill plug. You have to remove the fill guide and is not easy to know how much oil to put in. BTW doesn’t come with oil. Only had one glove which was no big deal. As far as use worked fairly well. But the safety function made it not hammer often when digging had to pick it up and slam it down to get it to work. Overall not too expensive so I guess what do you want expect.

For the price, amazing!
I needed to break apart a concrete ball that used to hold up a basketball post on my property, but whoever installed it decided to use an absurd amount of concrete. Normally my trusty sledgehammer would do the trick but this 500+lb concrete mass would take an excessive amount of time and energy so I was looking for a better option. I came across this and after realizing it would almost cost me as much to rent one, I decided to go for it. Set up takes about 30 seconds and once I pulled the trigger on the jackhammer, it literally exploded brick sized chunks with ease. After about 30 minutes, I had the concrete totally broken down into small pieces for easy disposal. So glad I went for this and even if it only gets used a handful of times between myself and letting neighbors use it, it's already paid for itself as far as I'm concerned! Just remember eye and breathing protection (which it comes with) but also ear protection.
