In this grey design world, it is wonderful to see complicated colors and layered patterns. Rooms have curated furnishings, gorgeous international textiles, and real-life, living characters.Allow some time when you open up this book. I couldnt stop. It nourished my creative soul with subtleties in color combinations. Its a great reference book, too. Inspirational!

This book is heaven! English cozy heaven.

The book is laid out well. Each chapter presents a British interior designer along with a history of the home and a Q and A page with the person. A good selection of images is included. The balance between photos and the written portion is perfect. Highly recommend if you’re a fan of British design.

A beautiful book that’s not just for looks. I don’t remember the last time I’ve sat and truly absorbed a coffee table book, but that’s exactly what I’ve been doing with this one. Such a treat! Well worth the price tag.

Picture candy from quintessential British designers. Tasteful, inspirational, and wide range of mixing styles and colors which the UK is known for. Highly recommended. Larger hardcover (no dust jacket) size for coffee table.

Lovely inspiring images, but print is small. If you like traditional English country house design — lots of furniture, books, rugs, etc — this book delivers. I adore that style bit expected to see more diversity in the designs.

A great value for the money; I am picky and this book lived up to my expectations. Great quality photos and laid out nicely. Size is perfect.

I have gone through countless books and more often than not, I am left disappointed. In my opinion, this one delivered. Worth the purchase.
