With an 80 GSM weight, this stiff yet thin paper features a unique textured surface that withstands repeated folds without breaking, making it ideal for both beginners and expert origami artists aiming for exhibition-quality creations. ## Description Taro's Origami Studio - Tant Origami Paper has been curated specifically by Taro's Origami Studio teachers and artists and is based on countless hours of folding experience. It is and always will be made in Japan, and its authentic quality and exacting dimensions have been ensured with countless folds, creases, squashes, and crimps. This traditionally made Japanese paper is the same color on both sides and comes in a wide variety of shades. This size of tant paper is perfect for more complex models like dinosaurs, animals, or birds. Tant paper doesn’t fade over time, works very well with wet-folding, and is also slightly translucent which is perfect for tessellations. ## Features - About 80 GSM weight, this incredibly versatile paper is stiff, yet thin enough for origami, and has a delicately textured surface. This paper is prized for origami folding and is famous in Japan. - If you wish to display your origami work to others, we recommend using Tant paper. This paper has a beautiful dent (uneven pattern) texture and a beautiful sheen on the surface. - The meaning of the term Tant is "a lot," which means an abundance of color. Tant paper has become famous in the Japanese origami world because it is a dyed fiber paper that does not break even after repeated creases and can keep beautiful surface texture. Tant paper is made by Hokuetsu Paper Mill Company and is only made in Japan. The paper is thicker than the standard and has about 70-80 gsm. - if the standard origami is a not-so-expensive paper for practice, then the tant paper will be positioned as an exhibition paper for the main event. In other words, tant paper is more expensive compared to standard origami. However, tanto paper will upgrade the look of your origami creations. - 13.4 inch x 13.4 inch / 35 cm x 35 cm, double sided 50 different colors, 50 Sheets, Made in Japan. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B089FQSRFZ | | Best Sellers Rank | #86,498 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ( See Top 100 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ) #191 in Origami Paper | | Brand Name | Taro's Origami Studio | | Color | 50 Colors | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (57) | | Item Dimensions L x W | 13.4"L x 13.4"W | | Item Shape | Square | | Manufacturer | Taro's Origami Studio | | Manufacturer Part Number | OT-Jumbo-Variation | | Material Type | Paper | | Model Number | OT-Jumbo-Variation | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Package Size Name | Jumbo | | Paper Dimensions | 13.4 x 13.4 inches | | Paper Finish | Glossy | | Paper Size | 13.8 inches | | Recommended Uses For Product | Crafts | | Sheet Count | 50 | | Unit Count | 50 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Taro's Origami Studio - **Color:** 50 Colors - **Material:** Paper - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Crafts - **Sheet Size:** 13.8 inches ## Images ![[Taro's Origami Studio] TANT Jumbo 13.4 Inch Double Sided 50 Colors 50 Sheets Square Easy Fold Premium Japanese Paper for Origami Artist from Beginner to Expert (Made in Japan) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81-1FwjPd6L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - [Taro's Origami Studio] TANT Jumbo 13.4 Inch Double Sided 50 Colors 50 Sheets Square Easy Fold Premium Japanese Paper for Origami Artist from Beginner to Expert (Made in Japan) - [Taro's Origami Studio] Jumbo 13.8 Inch One Sided 30 Colors 30 Sheets Square Easy Fold Premium Japanese Paper for Beginner (Imported Product from Japan) - [Taro's Origami Studio] TANT Large 10 Inch Double Sided 50 Colors 50 Sheets Square Easy Fold Premium Japanese Paper for Origami Artist from Beginner to Expert (Made in Japan) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/207897572-taros-origami-studio-tant-jumbo-13-4-inch-double-sided](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/207897572-taros-origami-studio-tant-jumbo-13-4-inch-double-sided) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
