It's heavy and rotates easily in the basket. I use both sides for leveling and tamping.

This is meant to be a leveller and a tamper but there is insufficient length of the internal thread. I have managed by hanging onto the last half thread but another 5mm and it would have been brilliant. It is well made and not aluminium. A longer thread and, it would be brilliant as opposed to barely being useable.

Bought this for my Delonghi Dedica (51 mm). Works really well and gives you a reproducible pressure. I am not sure how calibrated it is. The pressure can be changed but I have no idea if I have a 10-15 kg pressure.I tried to press on a scale and the 'click happened at 11 kg. Seems good enough! recommended

Nice tamper. The pressure seems just right to make a nice puck.

This is ideal for a 51mm basket such as those on De’Longhi machines. The resistance can be reduced by slight unscrewing the handle, this provides flexibility to get the perfect pressure required for good espresso. Looks good and feels very solid, and comes with a nice rubber mat.

I was having problems with my delonghi espresso machine. this helps ensure the coffee is properly tampened each time and i am now getting consistently good espresso from the machine.
