Much better than the OEM (plastic). This one is a nice strong metal that will last. Follow the direction that you can find online. I didn't remove anything but the old charge pipe instead of the removing the airbox etc. My method is not as good, but I was able to do it without removing anything but the old one. I have a few bruises to show for it and some broken fingernails - no problem, and I'm sure you can install it better. One word - if the "service engine soon" light comes on, just press and hold (engine runnung) the trip reset button and when the triangle with the exclamation point shows up, reset that item - there may be more than one. That light came on immediately when the old charge pipe broke and blew off. Anyway, a much better pipe than the OEM.

These are not the easiest to install but this is of sufficient quality and has held for a few months now with 13-18 PSI using the JB4. It hit 18.2 peak PSI with just chargepipe, injen CAI, and 30% E85. Also, it comes with a C-Clip, new gasket, and has 1 meth bung. All around it costs the same as the COBB but has much more. One gripe I have is the bottom O-Ring that attaches to the intercooler should have more range but eventually it fit. Make sure it is tight and after driving, check it and tighten as needed. MAPerformance as a company has excellent customer service and great reviews as well from reading online. I have no affiliation with MAPerformance and have no ties to them whatsoever.

Was exact fit 2011 135i coupe. Very tight fit but with some time goes together. Also it comes with an o-ring and the clip!!

This fit my 2013 335i convertible perfectly! My heart dropped when I heard a pop and suddenly lost power during acceleration but I was pleasantly surprised to find such an easy fix! This charge pipe is much better than the OEM because it's aluminum instead of plastic and it looks great! I have never really worked on my car myself but it still only took me about 45 minutes to do. I saved hundreds. Thank you so much!

Bought this to replace my oem one after it cracked. It's been close to a year now and I haven't had any problems with it. Installation was easy. The fitment was perfect .

The product is good but they should have include the washer and clip.

Does what it's supposed to do. Also came with a c-clip which is a huge bonus that NEEDS to be advertised!!!! people need new c-clips when they install these things and no one else gives you one!
