Designs for Health Iron, Vital for Energy Production, 120 Capsules

For those concerned with the plastic packaging and the lighter colored pills: these used to come in brown glass but recently (within the last 6 ish months...maybe, I can't remember properly but it's been a little while) they changed to the black plastic. I now notice, after reading someone else's review, that they are a little lighter than the previous glass bottle's darker pills. But I have not seen any different in terms of the ease of digestion or the effectiveness of the iron. (I take 4 pills a day per my Dr, have for about 2 years now, I have a iron uptake and use problem due to previous long term use of PPI antacids). These didn't use to uset my stomach (even taking 4 pills at the same time) but after stopping for about a months and then taking all 4 again, I now have to space the pills apart during one day, 2 in the morning, 2 in the evening or else it gives me stomach cramps/light pain. Though I think that's cuz when I originally starting take this I was on 2 pills a day, then increased to 4 so maybe my tolerance built up). Anyway, ferrous iron is the most digestible and easily used form of iron.

The only iron supplement that doesn’t upset my stomach. Helped to raise my ferritin levels from a very low level to an optimal range. Doesn’t taste funny either.

Gentle for my stomach during pregnancy. I take this at night since it’s best to take it on an empty stomach.

I recently had my entire colon removed, so iron absorption has been a problem for me. Not all iron supplements will work for me, and Ferrochel (chelated iron) was recommended by my gastroenterologist. I tolerate Designs for Health Ferrochel very well, and it is so far helping to avoid iron infusions.

These helping me in 2 days. I'm ultra-sensitive to iron supplements. I've had no stomach issues thus far. I feel better immediately. I can't eat meat daily, because of high cholesterol, so in turn I've developed low iron. I've wasted so many coins on brands that claimed they wouldn't cause constipation, only to find myself constipated after a few days. This brand has been great, we'll see as time progresses. Worth a try.

These supplements work I did some bloodwork I showed up anemic. I took this for about a month and I still take it every day. One tablet get some blood work for my doctor and it came up. Perfect. Just gotta take it.

It worked very good for me. Knew the difference in my symptoms within a week.

I need to take regular iron supplements. Without this product I would not be able to take iron. In common with many people I cannot tolerate the iron prescribed by my GP.

My Experience So Far with Ferrochel Iron Bisglycinate I don’t usually write reviews, but this product truly deserves one. I’m sharing my experience because I know many women may be going through something similar. My iron levels are low, and I had tried other iron supplements in the past. Unfortunately, I had to stop taking them because I experienced strong headaches, inflammation, heaviness in my body, stomach burning, and brain fog. I was honestly getting to the point where I didn’t want to try iron supplements anymore, even though I was feeling worse day by day. Then I found these Ferrochel Iron Bisglycinate capsules and decided to give them one more try. Today is only my fourth day taking them, but so far, the experience has been completely different. I have not experienced the unpleasant reactions I had with other iron supplements. I feel really good, and I’m so happy that I finally found an iron supplement that my body seems to tolerate well. Of course, everyone is different, but based on my experience so far, I truly recommend giving these a try if you have had difficulty tolerating other iron supplements. I’m very happy with this product and will definitely continue taking it as recommended. ❤️

In just five weeks my ferritin has increased 18 points (from 31 to 49) and my previously low blood counts have normalized. I take it after dinner with vitamin C. Generally well tolerated but only if taken with food, never on an empty stomach.

Unfortunately not as claimed, it has caused me guts problems after the first dose which necessitated that I stop taking it.
