Easy, Reliable, and One Less Thing To Think About I love the convenience of these GE XWFE refrigerator water filters, especially having them set up on Subscribe & Save. They arrive right when it’s time to replace them, and installation is quick and easy in my Café refrigerator. Perfect fit. No fuss, no muss… whatever that actually means. 😂 We’re on well water and already have a whole-house filtration system, but for drinking water, I still really like having an additional filter on the refrigerator water and ice dispenser. It gives me extra peace of mind, especially considering everything these filters are certified to reduce. I also appreciate that the genuine GE filters fit correctly and communicate properly with the refrigerator. Sometimes the off-brand replacements may save a little money upfront, but I personally prefer sticking with the manufacturer’s filter for something we drink every day. They’re simple, dependable, and one less thing I have to think about. I hope that this review helps you decide. I know it’s what I would’ve liked to hear when picking out a refrigerator water filter.

They are very easy to use and replace your water filter. Water filter makes the water taste great and the flow of water is good. It’s a clean filter system, the replacement are the same as the original. The cost is small compared to the taste of filtered water

Last 3 months, not 6
Have used for a while now on subscription. Works great but around 3 months becomes almost unusable with relatively light usage even though says should last 6 months. At around 3 months my fridge says around 50% filter status but takes 20 minutes to fill a glass up, happening on pretty much every one of these I’ve had

Purchase two for a better deal
Although these filters are pricey, we ordered two which was a better deal than just getting one. They fit our refrigerator nicely and were easy to install. They last a long time with keeping the water clean before having to change it out again.

Working flawlessly for my GE Profile Refrigerator / No More Water Filter Error Message
I failed two generic brand water filters before - they gave me the water filter error message on my GE Profile Refrigerator. I returned the two generic filters and bought this genuine GE XWFE water filter 2 pack. It fits and works perfectly. I tested both water filters and they all worked fine.

Order Extra! Just in case
I've bought this for my fridge 3 times and normally works perfectly. I'm only leaving a review because this time we went to replace the cartridge and I believe the chip in the cartridge is faulty. The water will not dispense and our fridge is showing an Error message. We removed/reinserted, turned the whole fridge off/on. Just does not want to work. We put our old cartridge back in and its dispensing fine. Being these are pretty expensive little cartridges I will contact GE in attempt to get a refund. My recommendation would be to order extra to have on hand in case you get a faulty cartridge.

Finally you got my order correct!
This time the proper product was delivered on Time and it was the product that I ordered. I ordered the same product last time snd you sent the wrong product and I called to return it and no one replied…waste of money…

GE XWFE Replacement Water Filter
The shipping service was excellent, my water filter arrived 2 days earlier. After watching short film on geappliances.com showing how to install the replacement filter, the whole installation was very easy (I have GE side-by-side refrigerator with original XWF (no E on the end) filter). XWEF is a replacement for XWE filter. No errors, no mistakes, no leakage - it took less than a minute. The only complain which I have is the price for the filter, in my opion is much to high.
