It really is both seat and folding lock. The only problem I had was the adapter (which holds it on the bike) worked loose. Now I carry my Allen keys with me when I ride. I understand that some people pay more just for a folding lock.

Really nice materials, comfortable, comes with replacement keys in case you lose your key and different colors for you to choose from. I would buy it again without question!

My son had a cable lock on his Ebike. His Ebike was stolen in just a few minutes. I have had zero problems with anyone messing with my Ebike. In order for someone to be able to cut through the seat bar they would need a cordless grinder. Very loud drawing attention to themselves. Also they would ruin the seat. Hard to ride without a seat you know.

It's a great idea. No need to carry anything extra, and no stolen seat. The seats a little uncomfortable on long rides.

The media could not be loaded.  If you can use a wrench you can attach this seat. Check out the video I attached to my review.I love the use-ability of this lock, I used to use a regular chain that was bulky and rattled around while riding. This seat lock combo allows for a quiet ride. It is super durable as well!The flow to deatch the seat and lock the bike took me about a day to master. Now I can do it in less than the described 10 seconds. Same with unlocking the bike, and reattaching the seat. The actual locking part is long enough to go around bike racks, poles, rails, and some small trees!I opted for more narrow seat, which is plenty wide for me. I went for the black with the lime green accents, but wishing I went for the red or white!The best part is that my bike seat will not get stolen as it has in the past!In conclusion, I would highly recommend.

Good idea but the execution could use some work. I like the idea of always having a lock with the bike, plus not having to worry about locking up the seat (since the seat is the lock). There are no directions with this, but it isn't difficult to figure out. I installed mine on a Thudbuster seat post, hoping to use the locking seat to secure the front wheel; I also use an Abus Granite-X plus 6500 to lock the bike to a stationary object.As was stated in a previous review, the seat is kind of wobbly when riding due to play in the locking bars and rivets. It does not provide a stable seating platform. In addition to being wobbly, the seat also is not very comfortable. On the Thudbuster, the seat mount rails on the seat's mounting cradle do not fit exactly into the rail cradle on the Thudbuster, unlike the previous seat. I can tighten everything down, but the seat mount rails are slightly wider than standard.To this point I am not pleased with this and probably would not purchase again or recommend it again. I will have to try it on some other seat posts to see if it will mount better and be more stable. I really do not want to give up the cushioning that the Thudbuster provides, but I also would like to have the simplicity of having the lock integrated into the seat. I have given this two stars, but would probably give it 1 1/2 stars if that option were available. As was also mentioned in a previous post, you have to destroy th packaging to get the seat out, so you really cannot repackage it to send it back.

Quite honestly one of my worst purchases ever. This product was not studied on humans. Unless you are 2 meters high, you WILL be too short to mount your back anymore. It adds SO much height to your bike. I mean the weight is something already but when you realise you can't even mount your bike no more.Oh and the wobble from that thing. Gee is it bad.

It's a seat, with a lock! Not only that, but a really good quality lock.I found this from BosnianBill on YouTube, and is probably the best bike lock I've ever owned

Brilliant lock fits very easily on the bike. Now just another adapter for my other bike.
