Composite decking blade
Cuts like butter. I used this to complete my dock with Wear Deck composite wood. It makes one helluva mess when cutting but leaves perfect smooth edges. Best blade on the market for composite decking imo.

A rarity - a product that actually exceeds expectations
I bought this to replace a "composite decking" blade that my local big box home improvement store sold me. The quotes are deliberate; the blade in question mangled & melted 8x 20'-long Timbertech boards that I had carefully installed, forcing me to cut them short and put in replacement sections. Grrr. This Freud blade, by contrast, does a beautiful job. I did a "test" cut with it, about 6" short of the intended final mark, thinking that I would use the opportunity to see how the blade performed in my saw. Needn't have worried; it cut through the composite decking like a hot knife through butter, leaving clean straight edges in its immaculately-aligned wake. Never any sign of a Freud-ian slip, ahaha. It didn't even cavil at the fact that I was using off-brand Timbertech boards, not Trex(R)(TM)(C) branded ones (I'm using Trex universal fasteners though, so maybe that counts in my defense) Learn from my mistake. Don't cheap out. Get this blade and make your deck replacement task easier.

For Circular Saws Only
This blade works well with circular saws. It cuts cleanly without problems. Tthat's what this blade is designed for. 5 stars if that's your need. However, if you need to rip a Trex board and your CS skills are not the best, you need to use a table saw. And that's where this blade runs into trouble. Like most most high tooth count CS blades it leaves a very narrow kerf - too narrow for your typical riving knife. Thunk! You need a blade that cuts just a wee bit wider a kerf. And that's why only 4 stars - I cannot use it on my DeWalt 7485. Fortunately Diablo also makes a quality high tooth count ATB blade that cuts just as well and leaves a kerf wide enough to eliminate TS knife issues. So, good quality, but not a mate for small contractor TS use. Informed buying decisions lead to less grief.

Cuts like a charm
I used this to help build my front porch out of hybrid lumber products from Cali-Bamboo. They warned me that I would need a good blade, but this one made easy work of cutting the decking boards. I have almost completed the project and there is no sign of wear on the blade. It worked as well as could be expected.

Worked great on my Trex decking
My cuts were clean with this blade. Not positive if any blade would have sufficed, but at ~$50 per board for Trex decking, why take the chance? I was cutting paper-thin slices fitting the boards into the picture frame around the deck with confidence. No burning, smooth cut. Not much else to say.
