Product arrived well within stated timeframe. Strong but appropriate packaging protected the item. The hedgehog house is so sturdy: exactly as described by the vendor and meets all my expectations. It has been in use throughout the recent stormy weather and offers a safe, dry, cosy shelter and feeding station for my prickly visitors. The hedgehogs love it, began using it immediately it appeared in the garden and the staggered entrance ensures they and their food are protected from inquisitive cats and foxes. I am delighted.

Bought this for my mum, a Hedgehog expert! Very heavy, but well built, design should keep cats, birds and any other food predators out. Could also provide safe hibernation house as well. Bit confused by mid section having no floor, presumably so food & faeces doesn't soil wooden base. Roof is strong and flippable, made of recycled material. All in all not cheap but does the trick.

Notification of despatch was received just hours after placing order and delivery by Royal Mail was several days earlier than estimated. The box comes fully assembled and was suitably packed. Sturdily constructed from thick wood panels and screwed together. The composite lid is firmly hinged and quite heavy and it is extremely unlikely the strongest of winds could blow it open. The lid has a hasp to lock anyway, so the larger or more insistent creatures won't be able to open it.Our box is located under evergreen shrub branches and stands on grassed/bare ground. After a week with heavy rain, constant checks have found the interior completely dry. (There are two wooden crosspieces underneath the box which keep the floor off the ground as well)The interior space is roomy. We put in bedding straw to hopefully encourage the hedgehogs who visit nightly. We have not found one inside or going in yet, but from second night on , we find the shape of a small body impressed on the straw and the bedding being shaped around. Looks very cosy in there. We did sprinkle in more straw and relevelled it and found again next day the cosy nest set up. So it looks like the box is successfully attracting and homing something at least but all signs are its the hedgehog(s)No real negatives to this product or service. Perhaps some way to keep the lid up while servicing the inside would help, although i have to say its more where we have the box located that makes it slightly awkward. Ovverall very satisfied with the purchase.

Pleasantly surprised at how well made this hog house is. It's fairly big and heavy so definitely won't be blowing away and is good and thick to aid hoggy hibernation. All delivered super quickly in appropriate packaging.There is no external tunnel (I wasn't expecting one anyway as there was no mention of one on the listing), but there is a staggered entrance which should hopefully stop or deter any unwanted nighttime visitors.Overall, I'm very pleased with it and can't wait until my newly born garden hoglets are using it to feed and / or overwinter.

I marked down to 4 for weatherproof, for the reason that the edges of the otherwise excellent roof, are likely to eventually absorb the water from rain and dew and swell.

We really like the fact that the foxes and our cats cannot access the hedgehog food. It looks very attractive and because there is no floor, it can easily be lifted and the ground underneath cleaned. We have it on our patio, it easily found by all the hedgehogs we look after and they quickly managed to find their way in. Very pleased indeed.

The product arrived a week earlier than expected and a hedgehog has already made it its home.

There is nothing to dislike. Came as didn’t have to assemble it. Good and sturdy, weatherproof which is what is needed for the hedgehogs. I had put an extra ‘bit’ on simply so his food was protected from the weather, birds and cat. So I just got a plastic box cut out a section of it to go over the entrance so I could put his food and water in it. He appears to love his home.
