Amazing product I used for 1.5 years…. Until today the lock would NOT unlock. Not sure what happened but it left me stranded bc my bike was now stuck to the rail… I had to pay $100 to get it cut off by a lock smith… what an L

It's been 2 months since I bought it and so far so good.

It's great to find a u-lock which uses combination instead of a key. Setting the combo is easy, and the whole thing is quite sturdy. However it's easy for pieces of it to get chipped off (the plastic), and also it's not very long, so may have trouble attaching to certain poles which are farther.

It took a few minutes to figure out how to operate it - to open it up, set the combination, and get started with it. But after a couple trips on my bike, I really like it! Very convenient, and I really appreciate that because you're the one setting the combination, you'll remember it. It seems to be very sturdy, as a good U-lock should be. I only wish that it were a larger diameter, since at this size it's not really possible to lock the frame and the wheel together as I try to always do with my bike. But if that's not an issue for you, then I certainly recommend it.

For the price this is a really nice lock. The rubber coating on the shackle protects my bike from scratches. This lock did not come with a mount, so one star off for that. Took 30 seconds to set the combo and the lock itself works great. I just hook it to the frame of my RadCity when not in use, but once I add a bag to my rear rack it will find a new home there!For the price, this seems to be a high quality lock to protect your bike.

I got the bike for college, so I could get around campus. Put it on the a bike rack outside my dorm and immediately forgot my pass code. I have tried multiple ways to retrieve my bike, even resorting to trying to break the bike lock. Nothing. Other people have come woth bolt cutters, couldn't get it open. Nothing. That lock has not budged one bit. It has now been months and I haven't won this battle. I am afraid my bike has a new home now. That bike lock is a little too good at its job...

These are nice solid locks. I got two for our electric bikes. They will slow down a pro, but there are more wannabes than pros out there. It will stop them for sure. Remeber to lock a “precious” part of the bike; rear tire if you have hub motors or gears, main tubing near the pedals otherwise. Front wheels usually come off easily and are cheap for them to replace.
