Good stuff
For the most part, it does very well for my skin and keeps it from getting too oily and soothes irritation I have on my cheeks and around my nose. My only note is a little goes a long way LITERALLY. I find if I use more than a dab (and I mean just a drop) on my finger tip, I tend to get oily later in the day. But that may not totally be the moisturizer’s fault. I live in a very humid and hot city and I bought this in the middle of spring which is basically summertime here! Anyway, love the moisturizer and my skin loves it too!!

does not reduce redness
Texture of Vaseline, no scent. Non irritating but does nothing to reduce redness. Very overpriced here.

Love the Cica products
I’ve tried a couple of different products with cica and really like this brand. Doesn’t irritate or cause breakouts and my overall skin looks better with it. I originally was using the cream and ordered this without realizing it’s a gel. I know some reviews were more negative towards the gel but I find the gel to do a great job, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling anything but moisturized and looking good!

Great as a last layer at night!
I bought this to use as a moisturizing last layer over my nighttime skin care routine. I really like it for those purposes and I feel like it really seals in everything well and counteracts some of the potential irritation from the stronger serums (retinol) I use. I'm not sure I would wear this during the daytime as its a bit heavy to sit under makeup for me, but if you are someone who has really dry skin I bet you could wear it during the day. I will definitely re-purchase this for night use though!

Not for sensitive skin
It did not work for my rosacea-prone, sensitive skin. It stings and burns instead of soothing. I wouldn't recommend it if you have a compromised skin barrier or have rosacea.

Gel >>> Cream
Woah I bought this on accident thinking it was the “cream” version because the cream has been my HG for two years now.BUT I was pleasantly surprised with this gel one. When I place it on, it’s stickier of course, but it also feels like it locks all the moisture in my skin. The cream version is light in itself so sometimes I have layer on my toner, essence, and serums but this gel one… may have turned out to be a great mistake.I wake up in the morning with nice, glowy skin. Before this gel, a few whiteheads here and there. Now, barely any!!Btw my skin is combo/dry.Since the weather is getting a lot hotter, I appreciate the timing of this mistake and hopefully the gel will be working for me as time passes. However a few weeks of use has been wonderful.

Meh
Has the texture of vaseline without any of the occulsive properties and barely moisturizes... I think this made my skin drier.
