Good budget-priced 8-string guitar.
The finish (paint, binding, inlays, etc.) on the guitar is flawless from top to bottom. The neck profile feels good, and the fretwork is well done. The tuning machines are decent, and seem to hold tune fine so far. The pickups are passable, but lack the clarity and note articulation of higher quality pickups. As this is somewhat of a budget guitar, this is expected. I knocked off one star (only 1/2 a star if I could), because the guitar arrived without even the most basic of setups, with dead frets and buzzing across the fingerboard. While setting it up to a playable state didn't take long, at this price point, I think the guitar should be able to play out of the box.
