I love these for their simplicity using a standard outlet, standard bulbs, and a switch on the lamp (not the cord). I installed one easily on the faux-wood hutch over my desk without issue. The second one I tried to install on a painted wooden shelf, but the clamp would always slip, so I drilled a single screw from the top to reinforce. I discovered the clamp has a metal core covered with plastic. Well made and affordable.

This lamp is light weight yet sturdy. It was a breeze to install. All that was required was to attach two springs, twist on the lamp shade, attach clamp, and insert lamp. The lamp is easily adjustable and positioned and stays in place.

Excellent desk lamp. It has a modern and stylish design, provides great lighting for my workspace, and the adjustable arm lets me direct the light exactly where I need it.

Good lamp but only go up to 40 watt incandescent bulb or will burn out quickly

This Artisians lamp is quite adequate if you can tighten the knobs enough to control it. It was easy to assemble and and the clamp seems very stable with a non-slip pad. The head does not rotate to point at the ceiling, which I enjoyed with my old lamp when I didn't want light in my eyes. This lamp covers several areas in my room, and works well.

This lamp is perfect, the desk mount I received is very high quality, it seems as if it was changed to metal by the company which seems to be a concern that I was reading prior to purchasing but was not listed that I saw. The lamp is tall, enables you to read or do work without light directly in your eyes and is very directional with the spread of light. Combined with a new and brighter LED bulb, it really is the perfect companion for studying. I am a medical student so I spend hours at the desk reading/ being on the computer and this is one of my most used items over the past 2 weeks and I wish I had made the purchase sooner. It is very maneuverable, but with the tensioning screws you can easily lock it in place. It does not wobble or shake within its base with the use of it that I do at my desk, while writing or anything like that. Its really a great product, and its price makes it a superb purchase. No other desk light (2 others) that I have even come close in comparison.

Estoy muy satisfecha con esta lámpara para mi mesa de manicura. Proporciona una luz brillante y uniforme, lo que facilita mucho ver cada detalle al realizar las uñas. Es fácil de ajustar, se mantiene firme en su lugar y no ocupa demasiado espacio. La calidad de los materiales es muy buena y ha hecho que mi área de trabajo sea mucho más cómoda y profesional. Sin duda la volvería a comprar y la recomiendo a cualquier persona que haga uñas en casa o de forma profesional.

Está linda y elegante, la única cosa es que el soporte y la agarradera se tienen que sobreponer, no enroscar, lo que puede darle inestabilidad a la lámparaFuera de ello, todo muy bien

Bueno, bonito y barato. La calidad me pareció muy buena, leí reseñas sobre la pinza que se rompía con presión, en mi caso la pinza es de metal así que mientras no le ejerza una presión excesiva debe mantenerse fijo y firme. En cuanto a la iluminación si recomiendo un foco de máximo 3.5w pues por la altura que alcanza el área que cubre es muy amplia y en un escritorio un foco mayor resulta exagerada la iluminación y por consiguiente molesta. Actualmente tengo uno de 4.5w led philips y me parece perfecto aunque quizás si necesite ligeramente más atenuación, depende de cada quien que uso quiera darle.

Before owning this, I have tried several LED lamps with adjustable neck and dimmable brightness.They were 3-4 times more expensive, however they were not very impressive, with a certain design flaws and QC issues that I had them returned. Then I started looking into buying just a cheaper swing arm lamp with an LED bulb.On receiving this unit, I was surprised by its construction, it's very solid, and the switch is way user-friendlier than I expected. Using an A19 (or A60) LED bulb of 12W it's now super bright. To make it dimmer I just point it to shoot at the wall, and the reflected light is just alright for reading in my office.The traditional design using two springs to keep the orientation of the lamp is great, making it fully customizable as well holding its position without any sliding.The whole set totalled just around $40 with the bulb, and I am totally satisfied.Finally, I have to leave the cons, but it's rather related to the bulb, in which the same won't happen for dedicated LED lamps (those cost more). My bulb has a small issue of flickering, shaking a pen laterally under it I can see multiple shapes, which is a sign of not high enough PWM frequency.If you are serious about this, and also want to build your own LED lamp using this swing arm lamp, you may need to pay some attention when picking the bulb.

Excellent light .I had the same one for six years . Very strong . I just replaced it with a new one because my cat made stink face after sniffing the old light .when I moved it was out side im my shed and some other nabourhood cat marked it . So now the old one is going to be used in my garage on the work bench .maybe another six years out of it
