Folding Knife - Firefighter Design - 3" Hardened Black Stainless Steel Blade - Seat Belt Cutter, Glass Breaker - 8 1/8" Open, 4 1/2" Closed

I had high hopes for this knife. I liked the look of it and it felt okay to hold.Those are really the only positives I can write about it.After a few months of light use, the blade had trouble staying closed. This isn't generally something you want to hear about a pocket knife.Another month later, the screw that holds the blade in came out.Again, this was with very light use. I'm not using this thing every day, just as a general everyday knife. I never tested the seat belt cutter (because I value my seatbelt), but I did try it on some string. I know they're not the same, but this had trouble going through the string, too.The only saving grace was that this thing was cheap.If you do decide to get this, you may want to go over it somewhat thoroughly and get some super glue in the screw threads, unless you want a loose blade coming open in your pocket.I would not recommend this product, and would recommend looking at a better brand. (My current knife is a  Kershaw Knives 1556TI Cryo II Assisted 3-1/4 Plain Blade Pocket Knife  ) This is MUCH better as an everyday knife, and has kept going strong for almost two years.

This is a great knife for firefighters or for anyone who is just looking for a good pocket knife. It has a very smooth action, a razor sharp blade (I could literally shave with it when I got it, though I don't recommend doing that), has a nice weight to it (Its very light and durable), and it fits comfortably in your hand. The blade will cut through ropes and fire hose like its nothing. I am a volunteer firefighter and the only down side I found in this knife is its not a spring assisted knife, BUT it does have thumb studs and it also has a little tab like thing on the back of the knife, so all you have to do is press the tab with your index finger and flick your wrist and it will open just as fast as a spring assisted knife. I haven't had to use this knife in an emergency yet, but I have tried the seat belt cutter and it works great, and if the seat belt cutter gets dull for whatever reason, the knife itself will cut through a seat belt fast with no problem at all, I haven't had the chance to use the glass breaker yet, but it seems like it would work fine (though I would recommend using the glass breaker only in an emergency, because the glass breaker is not hardened steel, so it will only keep its point for a few hits before the point flattens out, which can be fixed with a file, also it will only work on tempered glass, don't try to break glass bottles, etc... with it, it won't work, I tried, it just flattens the point). I highly recommend this knife to firefighters or to someone that's just looking for a good knife.UPDATE: After seeing my knife, one of the Lieutenants at my department decided to get one himself. He loves it, and after seeing my knife that I've had for about 7 months and seeing his brand new knife, the other firefighters at our department have decided they want to get this knife, because my knife still looks brand new like his knife, and is still just as sharp as it was when I first took it out of the box.

This was the best knife ever. Even though it was a tough time trying to learn how to open and close it, it was great ! Packaging was terrible and already opened, the box was torn and no instructions, now I do not blame that on the seller I blame that on the shipping, it was clearly damaged during shipping. This knife is the best for opening packages, also has a window breaker on the bottom of it. Works great. Love it.

I am happy with this purchase. i got it for my boyfriend who is a fire fighter for Christmas and i cant wait to give it to him. It is very nice. The only problem that i had was the box they show in the picture that the knife comes in was very flimsy like its not new. I just don't want my boyfriend to open it up and think its a used knife because the box is so flimsy. That is my only complaint. everything else is great. i love the red color on it.

Comes sharp as a razor. Seems to be solidly built, and the seatbelt cutter work great for small strings and ropes you can fit in the notch. I haven't had to try to window breaker, but i tried it out on a glass and it worked well! lol A great knife, especially for the price. If I lost my current one for some reason, I'd buy it again.

Firefighter Knife;I hand these out tot he new sparkys. A great price for a cheep knife that give u more then u pay for. the youngsters love them and its a good lesson in the difference between high quality and disposable tools. I have sadly let the high end version colt makes at the bottom of many a ravine and cliff

Not only is the design sharp with the fireman's emblem, but the blade is as well. Haven't had to use it to knock out any windshields, or cut any seatbelts yet, so I really can't comment on those abilities. What I can say though is, it fits comfortably in my hand & looks awesome & feels strong.
