All my life I was told my hair was straight as a stick. I e struggled with “combination” hair, oily on top and brittle on the bottom. I’ve tried all kinds of products. I recently switched hair stylists and she noticed that when my hair started air drying it was waving some. She told me I think your issue with your hair is you’ve been caring for it wrong. I think you wavy hair. So she recommended I research the curly girl method. I saw this line of Aussie products recommended and ordered the kit. While I waited for them to arrive I decided to try the scrunching and air drying techniques the curly girl forums spoke of. The first photo is before I got the Aussie products and was thinking my hair stylist was on something because I looked like I had electrocuted myself. The other two photos are after I got the products. I honestly was in shock when I saw all the waves in my hair. I didn’t know it could do that. Pros & Cons Pros: My hair immediately improved after two days of using the products. The oiliness on top and dry on the bottom that plagued me my whole adult life disappeared. I hardly have to use dry shampoo now in between washes. Before I would go through a bottle of dry shampoo in a week. My hair became easier to style and hold the style. It also reduced my hair routine as drying and hot styling was no longer needed. The products smell great and are lightweight. The Cons: I found I did need to use ALL THE PRODUCTS in the kit as recommended to get results. Cutting one out made my hair not perform as well. So you would definitely not want to cut corners and not buy a product replacement as you run out. If you have color treated hair this product isn’t as color safe. It faded my red considerably and I went from a copper red to a strawberry blonde within a month or use. Might not be an issue for lighter colors but if you have darker or vibrant colored hair you may want to stay away or increase the frequency of color treatments. Overall I really love this product line. This was my first time using curl products and I count this a success.

This whole system works great for naturally curly, frizzy hair. The smell is wonderful as well!
