Worked perfect for grooving out an asphalt crack, to then melt in hot tar
I was amazed at how this cutter worked. It cut through the asphalt like butter; well almost butter, but way easier than I ever thought. I thought it would pull the grinder as it cut, but brand new it did not, and cut through the asphalt easier than I expected. It was the first time I've ever used a tool to cut a v or u groove into asphalt. Previously I've always used a chisel. OMG, this is so much more efficient, faster, and made a clean groove as I followed the crack right across the driveway. It threw up a lot of asphalt dust so wear a mask, and glasses.I went about an inch deep, think I could of gone deeper, but it was a very small thin crack so far, that best I fixed it before it got bigger in the years to come, through seasons.I blower blew out the finished crack of the thick dust that was all over, blew it off, and then melted / filled the groove with hot tar ...OMG, it came out perfect.Anyway, the crack chaser blade cut, helped make it look real professional indeed, and was so easy to use.Expensive, yes... I don't regret it though, and have it to use again if needed for some more times going forward.

Works Great
I bought this to open up cracks in my asphalt driveway so I could lay pli-stix into them with ease. This baby made easy work of the asphalt. The only problem i had was the old latex crack filler that was in there already would gum up the grinding wheel. This is not the crack chasers fault. Just know that if you have that stuff in there it will be a problem. I was able to work through it in the end. The spots where I hit just pavement this thing worked like a dream. It also held up after hours of use. Still looks new!

Worth the money
I needed to chase about 10 meters worth of cracks in an old garage slab. This wheel was a big investment for our price range -- but it quickly paid for itself, shaving the old concrete down like butter. I had zero angle grinder experience but completed the job quickly and easily. And it still has plenty of life left -- I'll use it to grind down the uneven edges on our front sidewalk. Highly recommended.

Does exactly what it says it does
I ground about 400 linear feet of concrete cracks. Although the tip got rounded, it's still grinds perfectly. Worth every penny!

Cut through cement like it was butter!
I just fixed a large long crack on my concrete porch. I used this blade to widen the crack enough to do a two-part epoxy cement repair. This blade and a Metabo 4.5" grinder made widening the crack so easy and fast. It cut through the concrete slab like butter.
