Special Agent Cleopatra Jones knows the heroin pipeline stretches from Hong Kong to the U.S. -- and she's dead set on shutting the pipeline off at its source. But the Dragon Lady (Stella Stevens), lecherous, drug-running underworld queenpin, is taking dead aim against Cleo. Tamara Dobson returns in beautiful, brainy, fighting form to her signature role in Cleopatra Jones and the Casino of Gold. Amid the picturesque sprawl of Hong Kong and Macao locales, Cleo faces relentless danger. She kicks, flails and transforms a street corner into a chopping center. Breathless excitement is in store when she slips inside the Dragon Lady's plush gaming rooms. That's one sure entertainment bet!

Awesome Movie!
I bought this movie because I have "Cleopatra Jones" on blu-ray and have watched it many times growing up...and older. I never saw this sequel, "The Casino of Gold". As a kid I remembered her while watching Jason of Star Command. I saw Cleopatra Jones along with "Terminal Island" and "Coffee" back in 1973 or 74 with my Dad and Uncle at our local "drive in", remember them?, on a boys night out excursion when my Uncle Ricky came to visit us in Massachusetts from North Carolina. What a beautiful woman Tamara Dobson is. Great spy, action packed movie here with Casino! Just bought it because I really like the original...and I was not disappointed at all. I really enjoyed, and will many times more, this excellent film. Made on demand through Warner Archive, its image and sound are Quite Excellent! No bonus material or subtitles, but a great addition to my library. Dated and probably not politically correct to some folk today, it remains as a window to when a film was a film. Fun and escapism from the garbage and correctness they force on the public today. Excellent cast, very exciting and extremely enjoyable!👍👍👍👍👍✌♥️🙂

I Love Cleopatra Jones Movies.
it's a pity Tamara Dobson didn't get to do more of these great films. Okay, so I love Blackploitation films with Pam Grier and with Tamara Dobson only. I like seeing a black woman show some guts and stand up for what's right. Okay. These films are full of violence, but good conquers all in the end, which I like, plus I get a big kick out of seeing women who are rough and tough. Stella Stevens is exceptional in this movie though I wish her character hadn't been so disgusting and kinky when it comes to sex in the film. I like her being tough and being the boss, but I don't like her being in the drug business nor her messing around with her adopted daughter. Yet the big draw is beautiful, talented Tamara Dobson whom I admire for being so good at martial arts and I like seeing what outfit she'll wear next. Honestly though, I like the first Cleopatra Jones movie the best yet this one has the advantage of showing scenes that were filmed outside of the United States and for those of us who can't afford to travel, it's a treat to see how other lands look.

Tarantino got all his moves from these movies --- This is Kung Fu - BlackCinema GOLD!
This is creative edgy film making like only the 70's can do!Tamara Dobson is a Queen! This mixture of 70's Kung Fu/BlackCinema is the best of both worlds.Side note: I use the term, "Black Cinema," vs. Blacksploitation" (I despise the term "Blacksploitation" as too derogatory of the overall genre, which employed many African-American actors, writers, and directors, and promoted an overall revolutionary agenda within a commercial mainstream vehicle). This is a remarkable movie in the elaborate action sequences, the edgy filming, cuts, color saturation, for those students of film, sets, directing, and cinema in general, kick back and absorb a classic. If you love action, Asian cinema, Black Cinema, and 70's cinema, you will dig this film. Dig it?

Good, Enjoyable Bubblegum Nonsense Action Sequel
The sequel to "Cleopatra Jones" benefits from the authentic location of Hong Kong and its good production design. The story is almost the same as the original one, showing us Cleo fight against drug syndicate, of which mastermind, this time Stella Stevens, lives in a gorgeous casino. You might remember Warner Brothers once produced "Enter the Dragon" featuring Bruce Lee, which became a worldwide hit, and probably this fact influenced the studio's judgment to shoot the film in Hong Kong. The film is full of shoot-outs and kung-hu fights, but unfortunately, not as good as Lee's deadly fighting style, but still it is mildly entertaining. The final action sequence, chain of good stunts using motorcycles running in a casino, with its riders shooting machineguns (!), is the showdown of the film, and though the film nearly gets so close to ludicurousness, still remains enjoyable as a whole. And check out Stella Steven's outrageous costume.

One of my top favorites of 1975!!!
I love this movie so much, which is why I purchased it! Cleopatra, is dynamite in this film ✌💗. I just wish that evil woman didn't have her adopted daughter killed. That was terrible...how does a person go from rasing someone for years, and "loving" them and then kill them. That blonde hair lady was the definition of evil, but, Cleopatra got her in the end. And triumphed 💜💜💜

Cleobond
Remember watching this at the cinema Tamara Dobson stars as Cleopatra Jones, watching more recently noted she had great screen prescence and was quite a good actor, sadly she has passed away so this is a great reminder of her cool acting style although this is an all action and a little over the top and dated Jones is played very much as a cross between a female James Bond with martial arts skills, her stylish outfits are loud(not good for undercover work)and her ability to get rough in the fight scenes work to demonstrate a tough secret agent. As I said the main fight scene was a bit over the top and crowded, but when Cleo is involved in the earlier fight action scenes these are a lot better done and show her at her best, overall a lot of action from the 1970s,and the quality of the picture is crisp, now have to get the first Cleopatra Jones film and see which is the better movie.

The next best thing to a Blu-ray release - pure funky fun!
I hadn't watched the film in about 20 years, but with no HD edition around, I ordered this lovely copy. Cleopatra Jones and the Casino of Gold is a lot of fun, with a commanding performance by the undervalued Tamara Dobson - officially listed as the tallest leading actress in history.Stella Stevens as the baddie? Albert Popwell returning from the 1st film to show how cool is done? Chases? Fights? Yep, they are all here, and brought to life courtesy of some wonderfully colourful 'scope cinematography. The movie was a fun as it was all those years ago, and this DVD really is no slouch when up against HD, and a far cry from the Warner Bros mid-80s VHS release I used to have of it.I enjoyed it so much that I immediately went out and ordered a custom-made bass-trap for my home cinema room based on the poster. If you are after a riotous way to spend an hour & a half, then it's Dragon-Reducers at the ready and order the DVD of Cleopatra Jones and the Casino of Gold.

Happy with Cleo
I recently received my Cleopatra Jones poster and I have to say, that I am very impress with the quality of the product. It is being laminated has we speak. I also had ordered Cleopatra Jones, the first movie and Bruce Lee Enter the Dragon and I am very highly satisfied. My living-room is all of 70's movie posters and I'll go on Amazon to look for more incredible posters.
