Perfect for my classroom
I recently purchased the National Geographic Kids book about whales for my Pre K classroom and I am so impressed with it! The book is perfect for young readers, with simple yet informative text that covers a range of different whale species from around the world. The large and engaging photos on each page kept my students fascinated and engaged throughout the entire book.I particularly love the vocabulary tree at the beginning of the book, which introduces key words and helps my students make connections between concepts. The wrap-up activity at the end of the book is also a fantastic addition, allowing my students to apply what they've learned and expand their understanding of the world.Overall, I highly recommend this book for anyone teaching young children about whales. It's a wonderful resource that is both educational and engaging, and my students absolutely loved it! Five stars all around.

Nice reading material for young readers
My almost six years old grandson really enjoyed this book, he read it so many times he almost can recite it. Nice book, easy to read for young readers. The pictures great.

Great for first grade
This whole set of National Geographic Kids readers works great for units on animals for 1st grade. They're simple enough for them to read independently yet provide enough information for students to really learn. I highly recommend!

Great for littles
My 3 yr old loves whales and this was a great book for him. He learned all the types in this book and it was a good price point in case we need to replace it due to him loving it a little too much.

Good for whale lover
My daughter has an obsession with whales so she was very excited about this book. The only problem is there's no pictures of blue whales which is her favorite but we were glad to learn about a couple of whales that we did not know of before

Clearly used and not new
The book is clearly not new and is used. Not only is the cover damaged but the pages inside are also bent and scratched up. I am very disappointed because I got this book as a party favor.
User
Dynamic photos
My nephew is very satisfied with the dynamic photos.
User
Bad pictures
Even though they are using real pictures but they are blurless text so for very small kids
