TAMIYA Panel Line Accent Color All 4 colors ( Black,Brown,Gray, Dark Brown )

I have experimented with highlighting details for years and never quite reached the effect I wanted. Fortunately Tamiya Panel Line Accent Colors do the job. The brush is narrow and fits easily to recessed panel lines and raised details. The brush does carry more than enough paint despite its' small size. I do recommend wicking away the Color on the inside neck of the jar so as to reduce the amount of Color carried to the project. A small quantity works very well. The Color flows evenly. Now, the detail is there. I highly recommend the product.

Excellent product. Will use as long as I can obtain it without too much hassles. ;-)FYI: If you work mostly with enamels, you need to spray a clear base coat that is acrylic-based to avoid damaging the paint on the model when applying this panel line accent.

It really helps show the little details in things like panel lines and is really easy to use, just apply it to a panel line and it will flow through the cracks. Looks much better than a gundam marker and is much faster too. Only problem is you will need to buy thinner or lighter fluid. Other than that its perfect.

I have successfully used these accent colors on two models with great success. Before applying the accent color, I sealed both models with a clear coat to prevent interaction with the acrylic paint. With a light touch of the applicator brush to the panel line the colors flowed evenly along the panel lines. I also used these colors to accent other surfaces. If you have an application error, quickly wipe away the accent color with a cotton bud so it does not dry or stain the surface.

This works well for those times when you just want a quick shortcut for good panel lines and subtle detail to your kit. I use it when I don't feel like making my own washes.

Don't know this is a gift

This works great for weathering and panel lines if used correctly. When I am ready to use I first cover my project with a gloss varnish. This helps the product flow and pool where you want it to go. Let it dry and use enamel thinner to adjust or remove excess weathering. After I am pleased with what I have, I use a matt or flat varnish to take away the shine.

Try on a cheap kit, first. This is a great panel-lining tool, and they color looks great. But it's very easy to go over on drips, and it doesn't clean off easily. At best, be sure you have a q-tip nearby to soak up excess before it dries.
