Great for learning to draw and handprint making
I love how washable these are -- they wipe right off of our table. Also I saw a hack that you can color on your child's hand, then use that to create handprints on paper, etc. That works so well compared to the ink pad I got which dried out after a while and wouldnt rehydrate properly. For that alone, these are a winner. That utility is great for making gifts for grandparents and keepsakes for ourselves. The flow of the ink is also good to reward drawing at a young age.

Toddler-approved AND actually washable
My toddler drew all over herself with these ๐ and I was honestly shocked at how easily they wiped right off her skin. Theyโre easy for little hands to hold, the colors show up well, and I donโt have to panic when the marker ends up everywhere except the paper.

Washable from hard surfaces, but not clothing
The CRAYOLA MyFirst Washable Markers are great for young kids and easy to clean up from most surfaces. They wash off tables, hands, and other hard surfaces without any trouble, which is a big plus. However, while theyโre marketed as washable, they did stain clothing in our experience, so Iโd recommend using them with a smock or play clothes. Overall, theyโre good markers for toddlers, just be mindful around fabrics.

They wash off of skin, walls and clothes. Becuase of the short nubs my kid doesnt put dry to chew on them.
