I put this mat on my front porch because my neighbors cats kept spraying my front door and pooping on my front door mat.I’ve been battling this behavior for YEARS with zero success. It was to the point where the paint on my door was peeling be use of all the urine eating through the paint.I didn’t expect any miracles when I ordered this mat because I’ve had no success up to this point keeping the cats off my porch.I GOT A MIRACLE. The cats stopped spraying my front door and pooping on my porch the day I put the mat down and have not been back sense. I never expected such a Big difference right away. My porch no longer smells and neither does the inside of my house.I chose this particular mat because the spikes are very close together and I noticed on other reviews to other mats that people said their cats would gingerly walk between the spikes and still pee on the area because they were spaced farther apart.The spikes on this Matt are very close together...too small for a cat to walk between them.I have to step over this mat to get into my house and to me that is a small price to pay to not have cats peeing and pooping on my porch.When I first got the mat it wanted to stay rolled up so I put some rocks and plants around the outside and now it stays down on its own. I still keep small plants on the corners of it though in order to keep the wind from blowing it around.I would 100% recommend this mat for cat owners or anyone who wants to keep cats off their property!!!!!!

It is unpleasant to touch but not painful.I'm going to use it to keep my cats of the furniture. One wouldn't go near it - because of how it looks? - and the other couldn't figure out how to walk on it. It's obvious that it wasn't painful, but she didn't like being on it and got off the chair. Perfect.It's super easy to cut to size and into any shape needed. Just roll it up when you want to use the furniture!

got this to try and get cats to stay off the railing (used solar mesh as a type of canopy/net) but sadly 3/4 cats don't seem to mind it and will walk/sit on the spikes. maybe they help a little since they go up there somewhat less but that could also be getting used to us saying no and taking them down. what gets me is that they will sit on the spikes...

Cats walked right on it. Then I noticed the spikes coming off. It had become so brittle that after only about 2 months it was falling apart. Trashed.

I bought this to try to keep neighborhood cats from coming into my porch and pooping and peeing all over my plants. I put a section of this product on the side steps where my security camera would show the cats using. After putting up the product my camera shows the cats now just casually hop over the strip and continue their wreckage of my porch.

I needed these to keep neighborhood cats out of my flower beds and keep the squirrels from getting at my bed feeder. It has worked!! The squirrels have learned they can still get around but it did deter them at first. The cats have not touched my flower bed since putting these down! No more pooping in my garden!

We ordered these to keep our foster cats from scratching the doors, but they didn’t seem bothered by them and eventually learned to go under them. Then moved them to protect our tree for Christmas and once again they didn’t seem at all phased by the spikes, and even carried them around. Failed here. I

Bought 2 sets to keep my cat on the patio...black for on the ground under the rail, and clear (not really clear, but white) for on top of the rail. Also keeps other varmints out so far.

La intenté usar para que mi gatito se disuadiera de querer escapar del portón (de reja tipo abierta), pero pasa por encima de ella, incluso usa los picos para agarrarse mejor y brincar, ja.El ancho de la malla es angosta y para un espacio grande, se tendrían que ocupar varias piezas.Tal vez para otros usos sí pueda servir.

Súper producto no daña a los animales solo evita que pasen o se suban al motor del auto, buena calidad y muy práctico por los broches para unirlos
